Mr Ahmed Salama was our private guide for the trip to Philae, Aswan dam and other sites in the South. He is super knowledgeable and has a knack for telling stories, keeping you entertained as you learn about history. We are from the US and did not know much about how Presidents Eisenhower and Jimmy Carter interacted with Egyptian President Nassar, also Soviet government, with respect to the big dam. It was fun to learn about contemporary Egypt as well as ancient history and mythology. He had good drivers for us and helped us navigate sites-getting around the crowds. We highly recommend his services!
Fab trip. We decided to book with a local provider rather than our UK holiday company and are glad we did, we paid less and it was only us on the tour. Our guide was great, with the right amount of information and free time given at each location and a stop to get us a drink along the way. Highly recommend, thank you!
