My tour guide, Monica, was wonderful and knowledgeable. She was extremely patient and spoke English for me. It was clear that she cares very much for history and loves Paraguay. Thank you, Monica!
This is a good experience for a solo traveler. I would recommend this experience to others. City knowledge, company, and someone to take photos of you.
Octavio was an excellent guide and has a clear passion for his city. He made sure we visited all the sights I requested as well as throwing in some fantastic surprises such as the small but excellent pharmacy museum. He knows just the right amount of historical info to share without being too much, providing key contextual info when needed such as the Triple Alliance war or Alfredo Stroessner. If you’re visiting Asuncion, Octavio is the perfect person to show you around.
viator needs to provide name of guide and Whatsapp contact number. We were disappointed to get to the meeting place, wait for an hour and not have a way to cotact the guide.

We only had 24 hours in Asuncion and this was a great way to see the city and learn about the history. Our tour guide was Monica, who was incredibly kind and passionate about the city. She was very thorough going through the history and sharing her knowledge. The tour was about 3 hours long and a great way to see the high points of the city. We ended at this very cool bar - it was a highlight of the tour! Thank you Monica!
