アッシジの聖クララ大聖堂の前でガイドと待ち合わせて、ツアーを始めましょう。 スバシオ山の採石場から採掘された典型的なピンク色の石で作られたこの教会には、12世紀から14世紀に遡る貴重なフレスコ画が収められています。 見学後は、タクシー（料金に含まれています）に乗って天使の聖母大聖堂に向かいます。 壮大なスケールで建てられたサンタ・マリア・デッリ・アンジェリ大聖堂は、7番目に大きいキリスト教の教会です。 この見学の後は、アッシジの中心部に戻り、壮麗な聖フランチェスコ大聖堂を訪れます。 この大聖堂は、聖フランチェスコが生まれ亡くなったイタリア中部のウンブリア地方の町、アッシジにあるローマカトリック修道院の小さき修道会の母教会です。聖フランチェスコ大聖堂は、当時のイタリア最高の画家による13～14世紀のフレスコ画で世界的に有名です。その中でも最も有名なのはジョットです。

移動を続け、天使のマリア大聖堂へ。聖フランシスコによって修復され、フランシスコ会の精神的発祥の地とされる小さな教会、ポルツィウンコラ礼拝堂を訪れます。 この聖地は、現在でも世界で最も重要な巡礼地のひとつです。

The tour was fantastic. Our guide Werner was incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with so many details about the life of St. Francis his faith journey as well as so many interesting facts regarding the 3 churches we visited. I highly recommend this tour.

The guide was excellent. It was in Spanish, but she was also a very knowledgeable person about everything we visited.
Michael (tour guide)was very friendly and pleasant. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the places and other historical things about the area. He was the best guide we’ve ever had. We were really happy with the whole experience.
We did a private tour and it was great! Our guide was full of information, it was personal enough that we did not have to wear headsets and he allowed us to go at our own pace!

It was a wonderful experience and our guide was very informative. We were late traveling up from Rome. They were very hopeful in guiding us. We learned our lesson if you're coming to a CC driving is a challenge.
