Great cooking class and beautiful tour of the garden We had a fantastic experience at the cooking class and garden tour of Anggrek Putih Lombok. The lesson began with a lovely walk through their beautiful garden, where we learned more about local herbs, vegetables, and spices used in Indonesian cuisine. The cooking class was very interactive and incredibly fun. We prepared all kinds of traditional dishes from Lombok and Indonesia, and everything was absolutely delicious. The family and staff were friendly, patient and made us feel very welcome. One of the best experiences we have had on Lombok. If you like food and want to learn more about the local culture, I highly recommend Anggrek Putih

We had a wonderful time, starting with a tour of the lovely garden where most of the ingredients are grown, followed by a hands on, brilliantly guided cooking experience. The team were excellent, open to questions (many from my 9 year old) and really went out of their way to give us the best time. It was a real highlight and one we’ll remember, thank you!!

Everything felt fresh and authentic, and it was fascinating to learn the techniques and flavours behind the dishes rather than simply following a recipe. What really made the experience special was the hospitality. The team was warm, friendly and passionate about sharing their food and culture. By the end, we had prepared a delicious meal and learned a lot about Lombok along the way. Highly recommended if you're visiting Lombok. Anggrek Putih offers a memorable, authentic and fun experience — easily one of the best cooking classes on the island.

One of the highlights of our trip to Lombok. We booked this expecting a cooking class and got so much more. The garden tour was brilliant and our boys absolutely loved it. Seeing where all the fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices came from made the whole experience feel really authentic, and we all learned a lot along the way. The cooking itself was hands-on, relaxed and great fun. Everything was explained clearly, the team were incredibly welcoming, and the food we made was delicious. What stood out most was how genuine the whole experience felt. Nothing felt rushed or touristy. It felt like spending a few hours with friends, learning about Lombok, cooking together and sharing some fantastic food. We’ve done plenty of excursions during our travels, but this is the sort of experience that stays with you long after you’ve gone home. The garden was fascinating, the food was amazing, and both of our kids were engaged from start to finish. If you’re visiting Lombok, especially as a family, I can’t recommend this highly enough. A fantastic experience and easily one of the best things we did on the island.

The garden and farm tour was a lovely way to start, learning about the local herbs, spices and ingredients before cooking. The class was very hands-on, relaxed and fun, and we prepared several delicious traditional Lombok dishes. The team was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We especially loved that everything felt authentic and personal, not like a tourist attraction. One of the highlights of our trip to Lombok. Definitely recommend!

It was a great experience, the food all tasted super. Everyone prepared their own dish with help; it was very lovingly prepared and organized. We had a great time! Many thanks to the entire team. A small note: The cooking class is in Sengigi and not, as stated for us, somewhere in the mountains.
