An unforgettable journey through the Amazon! 🌿 It was an incredible experience, surrounded by breathtaking nature, wildlife, and unique landscapes. A trip full of emotions and wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. Absolutely recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’d first like to thank the team at Joshua’s Amazon Expeditions for their professionalism, attentiveness to our requests, and flawless logistics from start to finish. The Tapiri Lodge staff are wonderful and truly attentive to guests’ well-being, with a special mention for Jessica and Marcus. The lodge itself is beautiful, blending perfectly into the landscape — a truly stunning setting. The activities and excursions are excellent, with programs adapted to each traveler’s pace and to the conditions of the moment (rain or shine). A special thank you to Jhanyfer, our guide throughout the trip. Beyond her professionalism, she was a wonderful person to travel with: she took every one of our requests into account and did everything she could to make the trip go smoothly. This is a unique, unforgettable experience, carried by extraordinary wildlife and flora that need to be protected at all costs. I recommend this trip without hesitation, to nature lovers, the curious, and explorers alike.

It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. It was the perfect combination of adventure, learning about traditional and local cultures, seeking out animals yet comfortable. Finding animals truly in the wild is an experience that seeing them in captivity or in nature reserves cannot compare to. We managed to find Caymans, squirrel monkeys, tucans, mackaws, sloths, snakes, pink river dolphins, Goliath tarantulas and many more. Our guide ken, was very knowledgeable (he said he used to be a teacher and that really showed) not only knowing where to find animals but also educating us about them, the plants and the importance of tourism for the preservation of the jungle and local communities. The itinerary was was communicated clearly and often so we were never guessing what we were doing next or when we would be doing something. The lodge was clean, comfortable and the perfect respite to relax between adventures and the pacing of activities was not overwhelming. The food was the best we've had on any kind of tour like this, and we've done many. My wife is pescetarian and that didn't seem like an after thought as it often does, fish was a staple of every meal and it was always delicious. We did a lot of research when deciding on a tour company and lodge and were glad we did because this one was perfect! We could not recommend it more.

From the beginning we planned 6 months ahead and communication with Joshua was fantastic. Our two families were able to do the greatest high school Spring Break!!! They arranged for an easy transport to the hotel the night before. Kenrick (our guide) and his crew picked us up the next morning right on time. There was no delay at all in the two land transports and 2 boat transports to arrive on time for lunch at the Tapiri Floating Lodge. We even had time to feed the big fish and see the separation of the rivers. We were constantly on the move with different daily adventures arranged by Kenrick along with the perfect amount of downtime for chilling at the lodge or swimming in the river. We had the Tapiri lodge all to ourselves which was an added bonus. The food there was fantastic and plentiful. I can't say enough positive things about Kenrick who had been guiding trips for 30 years. He spoke perfect English and knew everyone along the way. It was an incredible excursion for all 6 teenagers and 4 adults!!! We didn't want to leave but we'll definitely use Joshua and Kenrick for our next Amazon adventure!!!

We visited Joshua’s lodge in December 2024 for our first visit to the Amazons region. It was a wonderful experience that we will never forget. The lodge is authentic with a very welcoming family. Food is good with local dishes , fruits and vegetables. We booked the 4 day tour, we had Daniel as our guide who was super helpful and experienced. The nature is superb and is different from anything we have seen before in Europe, Africa or North America. We and our kids were mainly interested in seeing local animal species, and although in nature it always depends on luck we managed to see: caymans, aguti, dolphins, snakes, spiders, centipedes, lizards, piranhas , vultures , eagles, and lots of parrots. We spent one night in the jungle sleeping in hammocks which was exhausting but amazing in every way! Definitely recommend to nature loving folks

This is not an Amazon tour. It’s a friendly tour designed for people 55+ to walk around a river. I’m 36 and by day 2 I was ready to leave and go explore other parts of the Amazon. The owner of this tour company built a small lodge in a tiny village by a river and called it “the Amazon tour.” You do little tours of the village and the river. He built a small 2 hour hiking path. We did not see any animals the entire 4 days. Absolutely nothing. You can do better hikes in Oregon or Colorado. Breakfast at 7, sit for 2 hours, walk or boat tour till 11 then sit till 3:30 pm then small walk till 5:30 pm. For 3 days then go home. The end. Food was good, nice people work at his lodge. The tour guides are burnt out and they know it’s not an Amazon tour but an expensive scam, but they do what they can to make it look “exciting.” You can do this tour with local guides for 50-100 dollars a day on your own.

Our four-day jungle adventure in the Amazon was an unforgettable experience. Our two guides led us safely through the depths of the rainforest with great professionalism and expertise. We were able to observe numerous animals such as monkeys, birds and even rare reptiles such as caimans and snakes in their natural habitat – a real highlight! Especially impressive was the extensive knowledge of our guides about the flora and fauna as well as the ecological importance of the Amazon. This trip offered us daily new surprises and exciting insights into nature and life in the jungle. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the Amazon authentically and educationally!

Thankyou to Joshua and Kenn for giving us both a most extraordinary experience, from seeing the Meeting of the Waters in Manaus, travelling up the River by small boat to feeding Pink Dolphins and catching Parana and walking in the Jungle. Their knowledge and insites were invaluable to helping us understand this unique and vunerable place. Joshua is a kind and smiling boy, born in the forest, who has devoted his experience and passion to the cause of the Amazon, making it a Sustainable Enterprise. Our experience was seasoned by the presence of Mathias, an expert guide and careful connoisseur of every detail of the place. We were able to experience sailing in the sunken forest, fishing for piranhas, starting caimans, visiting an indigenous tribe and an instructive walk to discover flora and fauna. All in the name of the respect of Mother Nature in its maximum expression. An unprecedented dimension of time and silence.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! Everything was perfect. Kenedy is the best guide. He is knowledgeable about the Amazon and is so passionate about sharing that knowledge with others. The Amazon is a special place that needs our love, protection, and preservation. Kenedy helped connect us to this fragile ecosystem in a meaningful way.
