We’re sorry you were disappointed. We sent the cancellation notice through Viator approximately an hour and a half before the scheduled tour and issued a full refund. We monitor the radar closely, but Georgia weather can be extremely unpredictable. At the time the decision was made, the radar showed a storm moving through during the tour. Because our guests and guides are outdoors for 90 minutes, we take their safety seriously and had to make the call with enough time to notify everyone. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive and find clear weather, especially while seeing other tours operating. Unfortunately, different companies may make different decisions based on the information available to them. Had the storm arrived as predicted, continuing the tour would also have resulted in a poor and potentially unsafe experience. We regret that the weather changed after the decision was made, but guest and guide safety must always come first.

We need to correct several inaccuracies in this review. The only communication we received from you before the tour was a message asking, “Where does it start?” approximately two hours before departure. We promptly replied with a detailed description of the meeting location, including the exact GPS address. This was in addition to the meeting instructions already provided in your Viator confirmation. We received no phone call, no additional message, and no indication that you were having difficulty finding the tour. At 8:10 p.m., after the tour had already departed, we received a refund request through Viator stating that you had booked the wrong tour. You were therefore recorded as a no-call, no-show. Our tour departed as scheduled from the clearly stated meeting location, and refunds are not issued when guests miss a tour despite receiving complete arrival instructions. Claiming that this resulted from “the worst communication” is simply not supported by the actual communication record.
