Great way to see the city! Fun and friendly guide as well. Definitely recommend doing. It was chilly and he had blankets for us so we could keep the boat open and still enjoy it!

Recommend this cruise for a laid back afternoon for exploring Amsterdam's canals. The skipper had cold beverages on board, and we brought our own snacks. He engaged us in Amsterdam's history without sounding like a tour guide. The cruise was more like an afternoon with a good friend!

The private canal cruise is the way to go - we had a beautiful early evening cruise with Skipper Paap who was super knowledgeable, friendly and very capable on the canal. We saw so much we had t appreciated until we did this cruise and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend the private cruise as a very nice option.
