Fantastic boat trip with stunning views. Great for all ages. We did the 90 minute tour but next time I’d get the landing passes and explore the island as it looks beautiful.

We met the boat at the appointed time and place. The crew looked tired and was just waiting for the day to end. They neither said goodbye to those leaving the boat nor hello to those of us joining it. But once we got underway all of that was behind us. The guide (recorded) welcomed us and gave a few preliminary safety remarks. The guide described the Forth and the surrounding structures in good detail. The cruise was very pleasant. The worst part was not finding a taxi or Uber back to Edinburgh. Please make it clear that visitors MUST pre book a taxi or uber.

The trip itself was ok. Unfortunately we sat downstairs at the back and we could not hear any of the commentary. Lots of children were dressed as pirates and several staff were dressed too but they did not interact with the children which would have been nice. Maybe provide the children with a pirate flag.

For our Pirate Day cruises, we had a face painter and Captain Jack lookalike on hand to interact with families, alongside our crew who dressed up for the occasion. All children were also given a pirate activity pack before boarding, with activities and a treasure hunt to complete during the cruise. From the many smiling faces we saw when the children returned to collect their treasure after the cruise, we know that the day was thoroughly enjoyed by lots of our young pirates, and it was lovely to see them getting involved in the activities. Unfortunately we missed the boat, all our own doing. So I really can't say wgat it was like. Though I can't believe it was anything other than great as the bridge is so impressive from the shore it must be fantastic from the sea.

This trip( 3 bridges tour) was an excellent experience with a well provided commentary with just enough technical and nontechnical information given whilst on the cruise. The boat which provides both internal seating and external seating with a bar and toilets on board. The cruise up the Firth of Forth which lasts for one and a half hours was extremely enjoyable enabling you to get up close to the three bridges and islands out in the Forth and be able to take photos in positions you would never be able to have from land. However please be aware that parking along the sea front is limited and would suggest that you arrive well in advance of your departure time. All in all an excellent enjoyable experience not to be missed whilst in the area
