ダナとペトラ・トレック+ワディ・ラム＆死海-9日間

This hike is off road and constantly up and down rocks and when not, it is loose stones, gravel and sand so you need to be familiar with this type of terrain and have strong knees to enjoy this hike (I strongly recommend hiking poles even if their website says no need) I was originally supposed to go just after the war broke out and had to postpone. Booking and communication with Shushan in the office was very good. Wilderness Camping and Beduin Camps were really good and in good locations. Good choice of hotels and all the jordanian people I encountered in my time in Jordan were really friendly and welcoming. Jordan is truly a great country to travel in with so many beautiful and interesting places to see

Had a great time everyone was extremely helpful and friendly especially our guide Motaz Zghoul who went out of his way to help it would not have been the same without him x The camp crew hosted by Eid were amazing nothing was a problem X the food which to be honest I was concerned about was very very good especially the lentil soup which I now have the recipe X thanks again for an amazing adventure x

The most spectacular trek, fantastic scenery, the Bedouin and Jordanian people are amazing hosts and our guide Motaz who happens to be an archaeologist, historian, political analyst, first aider, team bonder and motivator and general all round nice guy went over and above to make sure we all enjoyed it!

I have just finished the Dana to Petra hike with Arabian Adventures , the 8 people from all parts of the world arrived as strangers and parted as great friends by the end of or journey. We were very fortunate to have Motaz as our guide who was both informative and entertaining throughout the trek . Our hosts for the trip were a local Bedouin family who had our tents set up and a delicious traditional meal prepared for us at the end of the day . Sitting around the campfire in the evening in the company of people and being taught to dance was an absolute highlight 👏,If you’re thinking of trekking Jordan I could recommend Arabian Adventures 🙂👍, Paul

This was an unforgettable adventure and for me, a great introduction to multi-day hiking! For someone who has only done day hikes and camped for one night (on separate occasions), this was the right degree of challenge. The terrain was a bit steep and rocky in some places but the pace and distance covered per day were very reasonable. Having our luggage transported each day and arriving at the campsite with our sleeping tents (complete with mattress, pillow, blanket) and a shower and toilet tent set up made it much more comfortable than usual camping. Our guide Motaz was excellent and great fun - he explained the flora and fauna, geology, history and culture of the region, and took good care of us every step of the way. I nearly sprained my ankle and he lent me an ankle guard. He really made the landscape and Petra come alive for us - he puts his heart and soul into the job and is great at connecting with people. The Bedouin support crew were really hospitable and friendly as well - they didn't speak much English but more than made up for it with their warmth. They showed us how to scramble up the nearby rocks and taught us a celebration dance. Some people in our group of 8 only did the 5-day hike, but I would highly recommend continuing to Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea, to complete the experience!

Motaz Olga Zghool has been such an amazing host as he guided us from Dana to Petra on our hiking tour. Since our first meeting point to our final goodbye (where he also ordered a taxi for) he has been such a warm, professional gentleman. He has guided us through a journey of laughs, beauty, traditions, nature and family with an immense pride of his homeland Jordan. We didn’t know any of the other travellers in our group and after 5 days we have gone from strangers to a family. Our highlights are the breath taking views on the hikes, the lunch’s on the mountain. The warmth and friendliness of the Bedouin Hosts on the mountain. The morning coffees with a view. The starlit nights. The food, the back door entrance into Petra and the fabulous Knowledge our host had for all these areas. Motaz treats people with a great respect and he deservedly gets it back from all he meets. His warmth, ability to read people and know when to push and when to pause. His kindness and generousity. We both felt very safe at all times with him near us, guiding us and educating us on all aspects of Jordan’s nature, history and people. We leave Jordan thinking we have just had the best holiday of our lives and are richer people for all we saw and experienced. Thank you.

This was the best trip I have ever participated in, I thouroughly enjoyed the hiking and camping with the bedouin people and experienced a level of hospitality and honesty I had not experienced while traveling before. Our tour guide Motaz Zghoul was incredibly accomodating and has a huge array of knowledge about his country's history, geology and culture. Im happy to have left Jordan with not only an incredible experience but a brother too. The hike is entirely at your own pace and the natural beauty makes it an incredibly valuable experience that I would highly recommend to everyone that I know.
