We traveled to Sri Lanka at the end of August and the experience was fantastic. We chose Sam's agency because of the excellent reviews we had read, and we can confirm that they were fully justified. From the very first moment, Sam was very professional, helping us plan the trip, giving us excellent recommendations, and facilitating the booking of excursions and activities. We also want to highlight Chamara, our driver and guide, who made the whole trip very comfortable. Always attentive, kind, and willing to help, he contributed decisively to us enjoying the experience to the fullest. Everything was perfectly organized and worked as planned. Sam's quote was detailed and very clear, which was the reason we chose his company over the others we asked for quotes from. The driver that was assigned to us, Nishaa, was a first class driver and guide - knowledgeable, friendly, warm, humourous. We really enjoyed his company and his insights into local experiences that weren't necessarily over crowded or curated just for tourists. Nish had contacts everywhere we went who were equally as pleasant to spend time with during specialised activities. Thanks to that we were privileged to see leopards in the wild! We have no hesitation in recommending Sam's tour company to anyone who is looking for a quality, hassle free experience.

We arrived in Sri Lanka for our honeymoon this month. We had a fantastic experience with Rukshan who was our designated driver for the trip. He was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the areas we wanted to explore. An absolutely phenomenal trip. Our driver / newly formed friend Rukshan was an absolute blast to be around. Loved the scenery in the mountains and the coastline was spectacular . The setting was tranquil and such a diverse experience . Our wonderful driver Chamal went out of his way to show us his beautiful country . He was so accommodating and nothing was to much for him . . Loved the incredible , breathtaking walks .Despite the very hot weather , the turqoise sea never failed to disappoint . We got to see so much in our 10 days , the pace was perfect too . Fantastic 10 day tour of Sri Lanka. We arranged the hotels and Sam provided our excellent driver Chamal and bought our train tickets from Ambewela to Diyathelawa. Communications by WhatsApp in advance and during the trip was excellent. Chamal came up with fun things to do every day. The mini van was very comfortable with lots of room for the four of us (two adults and two small children). He was an excellent and safe driver. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

My husband, and I normally drive ourselves around, but have been told that it was helpful to have a driver in Sri Lanka. Once I saw the road conditions and the signage, we definitely felt like we had made the right decision. We found this company through my sister-in-law, who had worked with Sam on a previous visit. So we didn’t even bother vetting any other companies. Sam assigned us to his brother Chamal and Chamal drove us around for about nine days. We customized much of our own trip, but Chamal had his own recommendations, some of which we took. When you spend this much time with somebody on a daily basis, you really get to know them and Chamal was a very lovely person. He was always punctual, always professional, and always courteous. A truly lovely man. He helped us purchase train tickets for the ride to Ella, which can be confusing. Would highly recommend and would definitely seek him out should I return to Sri Lanka.
