We also loved trying local food—especially ema datshi (the cheesy chili dish), momos, and the butter tea. Every evening felt magical with the quiet mountains around us and prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Bhutan gave us so many beautiful memories as a group, and we left feeling lighter and more connected to each other and to ourselves. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
