Booked a 3 hour tour with secret tour and had the pleasure of having Gina as our tour guide and she was accommodating, nice, patient and knowledgeable. Got to know Korea more especially the cuisine ! Bam Korea 2026 ending our trip!

The tour was okay. The host barely showed up on time to leave when everyone else was there at least 15 minutes beforehand. Our guide then didn’t check the roster since we had to be off immediately, so someone ended up on the wrong tour and was asked to leave midway through without knowing where her tour group was at that point (fortunately we later saw that she found them). Ethically, I know that people have differing feelings about sannakji, but ordering it as a surprise when basically no one will actually eat it is difficult to frame as anything but needless animal suffering (90+% of it wasn’t eaten).

Youla was a great guide and not only did we get to sample a lot of traditional foods which I wouldn’t have got try traveling solo, but also learnt about what was in the food, what makes it Korean and also some general history about Korea and Seoul. I strongly recommend this tour as a great introduction to Seoul and its food.
