Request Ned if available, he was the best guide ever. He went out of his way to ensure we had an exceptionally memorable experience. The side trip to the authentic farm was spectacularly amazing which was exactly what we envisioned. The host, the Nona, the food, the wine, the animals made the overall experience just perfection. Definitely bring water! There can be up to 8 participants but we only had six which was more comfortable in the van.
Ned was the most awesome, knowledgeable, personable guide we’ve had in decades of travel. Sincere and warm. A true gem.

We had a wonderful small-group tour of Tuscany on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with Alberto, who was both our guide and driver. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The views were spectacular, the scenery was breathtaking, and Alberto’s explanations made the whole trip even more interesting. He has an incredible depth and breadth of knowledge — far beyond what the standard tour program probably requires — and he shared so much fascinating information with us throughout the day. It was also clear how passionate Alberto is about his work. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and love for Tuscany made a real difference and made the tour much more than simply sightseeing. Everything was excellent: the beautiful places we visited, the comfortable car, the organization, and especially Alberto as our guide and driver. Thank you very much for such a wonderful day and for giving us some of the best memories of our trip to Tuscany. We truly enjoyed every moment!

My day touring Tuscany with Ned was excellent. I especially enjoyed the farm visit and the incredible views along the way. Ned was very flexible and gave us good tips for how to best use our time at each stop. He is also a good driver (a major plus IMO). Traveling with a truly small group is a thousand times better than being carted around on a bus. Recommend!

The trip was not as expected, I thought we would be doing some wine tasting. The only wine was with our lunch and it was not included , we had to pay for it ourselves. The meal was ok , but nothing special and the service was very disorganized . The walking tour of Siena was really good , but when we got to montipucciano, we only had 45 minutes and I thought that was were the wine cellar would be, but if it was we weren’t told about it. The last stop was ok. Our driver was great .

We have carefully reviewed what happened with the guide, who confirmed that he independently modified the original itinerary at the guests’ request while on board, adding an additional stop in Monteriggioni. Unfortunately, this reduced the time available for the other scheduled visits. As this change was neither authorized nor communicated to our operations team, we have taken the matter very seriously, and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken with the guide. It is therefore quite surprising for us to receive such feedback, as according to the guide, all guests appeared to be happy with the experience and had requested the additional stop. Regardless, the change should have been communicated to and authorized by our office. Had we been informed, we would have instructed the guide to strictly follow the original itinerary to ensure sufficient time for all the scheduled visits and inclusions. Had the original itinerary been followed, there would have been sufficient time for all the planned stops, including the visit to the historical cellar in Montepulciano with a complimentary wine tasting. We are therefore particularly sorry that you were unable to enjoy this important part of the experience. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the walking tour of Siena and appreciated your driver. We take feedback such as yours very seriously, and we sincerely regret that the tour did not unfold according to the itinerary originally planned.
