We travelled to Sri Lanka in December 2025 with SimplyFly Sri Lanka Pvt Ltd as a family with two young children (3.5 years and 7 months old). Just a few days before our tour started, a cyclone storm hit the country, which made the situation quite challenging. We had originally planned to visit Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, but due to the weather conditions, this was no longer possible. In that stressful situation, our tour agent from SimplyFly reacted incredibly fast and professionally. They immediately provided alternative solutions and coordinated efficiently with the hotels. Thanks to their excellent support and flexibility, we were still able to fully enjoy our holiday. Looking back, we do not regret the change of plans at all. Instead, we explored the south of Sri Lanka and visited Galle, Weligama, Tangalle, Yala National Park, and Colombo. The itinerary was perfectly adapted to traveling with small children – relaxed, well-paced, and completely stress-free. Our private driver was very calm, careful, and reliable, which made us feel safe at all times, especially with the kids. Our Kids enjoyed visiting a sea turtle hatchery and going whale / dolphin watching. The south of Sri Lanka offers beautiful beaches and many lovely cafés, making it ideal for families. We had a wonderful experience with Simplifly Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Buddhika organized the trip seamlessly with including very nice attractions in Sri Lanka. Tour package included 4-5 Star Class Hotels with Half Bard meal plan and English-speaking driver with comfortable Air-Conditioned Car. Our guide and driver, Primal, was with us throughout the journey, taking us to key attractions at the best times with concerning the sunset and sunrise to maximize our experience. Specially need to mention about the view from Pidurangala Rock to Sigiriya. It was so amazing! Primal was very knowledgeable with the history of the sites we were visiting and provided us with lovely restaurants (Chilla Café Ella, Ministry of Crabs, Wadiya & for the authentic experience like Alimankada) recommendations in the different areas that we travelled. He was also very flexible, accommodating our requests and adjusting the schedule when needed.
