What an incredible day we had with Mato. He not only took us to the caves and Lokrum but also a quiet cove for swimming and to Lopud for a fabulous lunch. Mato is a great guide, very relaxed and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend him.

Mato’s Elaphiti Islands boat tour was the highlight of me and my friend’s stay in Dubrovnik. He is an excellent host who is super friendly and loves what he does, and that makes the day’s experience so much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend anyone on a trip to schedule a tour with Mato.

Most beautiful and special way to experience the Adriatic and Dubrovnik from the water! Mato is fantastic, he gave us some wonderful options to make our own custom experience. This was our second trip with him as the first one was so great we couldn’t think of a better way to spend the last day of our trip. We had dinner on an island that was a great way to end the day and then lovely sunset boat ride back to Dubrovnik. We swam in quiet and beautiful bays, he found us a bay with crystal clear waters and a nice breeze in the heat of the day. He provides beer, wine, water and cokes. Bring extra water if it’s really hot and save his cold ones for later in the day. Don’t hesitate, you will have a wonderful day out with Mato!

I highly recommend a boat trip with Mato! He is a wonderful, considerate and well organized skipper. The itinerary he planned for us was amazing and both me and my husband and our kids (ages 10 and 12) enjoyed every stop. We got to swim in beautiful spots, explore a blue cave, and three green caves (these were fabulous and one of them even had multiple “rooms” you could swim into). We also had some time on a nice beach and lunch at an excellent restaurant. Mato communicates very well and explains things well on the boat. He also provides his guests with cold drinks, snorkels and noodles and makes sure everybody is comfortable.

My family and I had a wonderful day with Mato on the water. Born and raised here, he shared many stories. Great day all around

Good day from start to finish, stunning views and plenty of various places to visit, Mato was a top bloke. Stopped off at lupod for lunch also as an extra treat. We will return

Mato was very friendly and patient with a group of 6. He had excellent recommendations about spots both popular and quieter. The highlights were being able to jump off of the boat and the rocks. Would definitely recommend!!

We spent an incredible day on board a perfectly maintained boat, accompanied by Mato, a skipper as friendly as professional. Always smiling, attentive and caring, he created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout the day. Our experience began on the outskirts of Lokrum Island where we were able to reach the coast and walk on the island, then we followed by snorkeling stops near the beautiful green caves and the famous blue cave, before enjoying a relaxing moment on the beach of Lopud Island. The landscapes were sublime and the crystal clear waters, a real little piece of paradise! Mato was able to adapt with great kindness to our mother’s seasickness by skilfully avoiding the biggest waves. He also provided us with cold drinks and a cooler to put our lunch there. An experience that we recommend without hesitation to all those who wish to discover the coast with serenity, with a passionate and attentive skipper. Thank you Mato for a wonderful day, we will keep a wonderful memory!

I just got back from my day with Mato. What an amazing experience! Mato was a top notch skipper and excellent tour guide. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. As a matter of fact I have friends coming in a few months and I will be passing on his number as soon as I get back to the States.
