We took the 8-day Central Mongolia package and we are truly grateful to Meet Mongolia Tours for providing such a great and seamless service throughout our entire journey. A special mention goes to the agency's manager, Zaya, who was exceptionally responsive, kind, and accommodating, making every concern and request feel easy to handle. The itinerary was well-curated, with a perfect balance of breathtaking landscapes, cultural experiences, adventure, and meaningful encounters with the local way of life. Our tour guide, Mr. Tuguldur, was not only smart and knowledgeable but also cool, approachable, flexible, and genuinely concerned about his clients' safety and well-being to the point of scolding us for always forgetting the warnings and safety rules, which made our bond stronger and the entire trip even more fun. Our driver, Mr. Eroolt, was highly experienced, skilled, and dependable, giving us a great sense of safety and comfort even while navigating the long and challenging roads of Central Mongolia. Mr. Eroolt has always been chill and positive and he was like a father to the team. Every detail of the trip came together beautifully, allowing us to fully appreciate the awe-inspiring landscapes, rich culture, and authentic nomadic experiences of the region. Overall, Central Mongolia gave us an incredibly memorable adventure, and Meet Mongolia Tours' outstanding team played a huge part in making this journey truly one-for-the-books and unforgettable.

8:00 AM, day 1: my husband and I go down to the hotel lobby and meet this young girl named Soe. She immediately gave us the impression of being an introverted girl and we would never have expected that her way of guiding us through this experience would be as professional as it was thoughtful, as if she were a dear friend who, after much insistence, finally has the opportunity to show you her home country. Along with her is the driver Bayraa, with whom we unfortunately could not communicate directly because he did not speak English, but who, with his smile and his manners, always made us feel welcomed and pampered. Let's admit it, the tour is certainly not for everyone, given the long journeys on the famous "dirty roads" and roads that are not perfectly paved, with animals ready to cross the road and cars with crazy overtaking: but we never felt in danger. To this, we add the nights spent in typical yurts with beds that were often not very comfortable. Here too, in the various tourist camps, we always found great attention to the tourist and a great desire to make them live a genuine Mongolian experience. We will all remember the stories told by Soe about Mongolian culture, their traditions and customs, the legends and the history of this incredible country made of green steppes, blue rivers, pristine lakes, animals grazing freely, and evening games to play as a family. Soe managed to convey to us all the love she has for her land, inhabited by a people with a glorious past, a proud gaze, and this beautiful ability to live in contact with nature. A special thanks to Meet Mongolia for the all-inclusive experience full of activities and wonderful places to discover, to our driver Bayraa, and to the legendary Soe!!

We combined Khuvsgul Lake/Central Mongolia, Gobi dessert and Ulaanbaatar city tours - a total of 15 days, all inclusive private tour for 2. Zaya, our tour organizer, tailor made an excellent itinerary for us. She was always available to us during the booking process and the tour itself. She was extremely efficient in our interactions and had excellent suggestions all through. Hats off to Zaya for finding us 'ensuite' ger accommodation all through. Our journey started with a smooth airport pickup by our guide Ariunaa and Moogii (Zaya's husband). Even though our first day included only airport pickup, at our request, they took us shopping for Cashmere and also gave us complementary dinner. The next day we started our spectacular Mongolian journey with Ariunaa, Namkhai (our experienced driver) and our sturdy Toyota 4Runner. Most of our journey was on gravel/unpaved roads (with no road signs) and long distances between destinations - very tough on the driver and the vehicle. We heard no complaints from Namkhai, who ensured that we took the scenic route, always. I also compliment him on his ability to find the way on unmarked roads, often with the road itself not apparent/visible. Ariunaa, our guide was very proactive in calling ger camps in advance, to make sure we had well located gers and food to our requirement. We also loved the home cooked meal by Ariunaa's husband and also meeting her extended family. A big thank you to Tseegii (Namkhai's wife) who accompanied us on the Ulaanbaatar city tour. Her enthusiasm, kindness and initiative enhanced our day. Thanks to our team, we had wonderful multiple sightings of Takhi (wild horses), Siberian Ibex (bearded goats) and Yol/Lammergeier (bearded vultures). Mongolia is a wonderful country with warm people and breathtaking scenery. Travelers need to embrace the journey rather than destinations, for an immersive experience with unexpected discoveries. At our impromptu stops at herder family gers we always received a warm welcome, opportunity to taste authentic local delicacies (yak milk cream and aaruul was unbelievably yummy) and to learn about their lifestyles. Our adventure (group of two girls from Hong Kong) through Mongolia to the breathtaking Khuvsgul lake was truly a soul-awakening experience, made utterly perfect by our incredible tour guide! If you dream of pristine wilderness, genuine nomadic culture, and landscapes that steal your breath, book this tour immediately (with a reasonable cost)!!! Our accommodation in the ger camps provides basic and clean hospitality with shared bathroom but there are options of upgrading with private bathroom. Although the drives are long, the vast, rolling steppe with endless skies and animals are a view that you can never get tired of. Our journey through Mongolia to Khuvsgul lake was nothing short of magical, but it was Mogi and Zaya (our guides) who transformed it into a soul-touching experience.
