I cannot emphasize how important our guide, Nelson, was to our entire experience. Hiking Kiliminjaro is the most rewarding and physically taxing experience I’ve ever done, but with Nelson as our guide, he helped make sure our experience was unforgettable! With his expertise and guidance, everyone in our group was able to make it to Uhuru Peak safely. This could not have been without Nelson and his team. I will be highly recommending Nelson and his crew to all my friends back home who are looking to hike Kiliminjaro! It’s also important to note that taking Lemosho route was a game changer for us due to the longer duration and more time for acclimatization. We were very lucky to see so many beautiful animals including the big five within all these national parks. We saw rhinos, buffalos, elephants, leopards, lion and many more.
