Becky, our guide was fabulous. So passionate about the museum, history and the stories of the civilizations that produced these artifacts. Wonderful!

I booked this tour after arriving in London and finding I had a free Friday afternoon. I have been wanting to visit the British Museum but understood their collections were vast. I was looking for a small group to get an overview of the highlights of various collections and this was the ticket! Our guide, Darcy, met us early at the easy to find location outside the front of the museum. He was very engaging informed (he works at the museum but this was an afternoon off) so he was very knowledgeable. He gave us a great choice of items to see in various sections and provided insights onto those items (which were almost all on my bucket list for the museum). At the end he offered to take us to any items of interest that had not already been covered. We needed time to think about that (note to plan ahead to take advantage of this offer) so we thanked him and took a break before exploring the museum on our own. Great way to get a toe in the water!

Great introduction to some of the highlights of the British Museum. Guide Matilda was great and shared lots of interesting information.

She is personable and professional with an extensive knowledge of history and the artist facts. We enjoyed her tour very much and it helped us plan the rest of our visit.
