Fantastic guides, comfortable vehicles, excellent service and great accommodation
We had an amazing safari and thoroughly enjoyed both Kenya and Tanzania.
After 3 days in Kenya with our great guide, Reyia, where we got to see Lions, Cheetah and Serval cats, including a Lion pray on a Warthog, along with seeing all the other beautiful animals Africa is known for, we had a quick, seamless transfer at the border thanks to Mustafa, our guide for Tanzania.
Leaving the border crossing and making our way into northern Serengeti, we were instantly put at ease with Mustafa's driving. The land cruiser was very comfortable and Mustafa's experience was evident in the way he handled the rocky African roads, navigating the potholes, bumps and corregation without a worry.
Mustafa has made our time in Tanzania memorable beyond words. From getting to witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration at the Mara River Crossing, to seeing countless prides of Lions, Cheetahs, Leopard and 2 Lion kills aling with all the anticipated African animals, he helped us see the Big 5 when we got to see Rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater.
Having seen countless other cars on the side of the road for ages with flat tyres and broken down vehicles, halfway through our day in Ngorongoro Crater, we got a flat tyre and Mustafa took care of it super quickly and got us back on our way in minutes.
I can highly recommend Mustafa (and Colours Africa) for your next Safari, you definitely won't regret it!

Highly Recommended Safari Guide – Mack
I highly recommend our safari guide Mack for your Tanzania wildlife tour. He is a fully licensed, experienced guide based in Arusha, with in-depth knowledge of Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater. His wildlife spotting skill is outstanding, he can easily locate hidden lions, rhinos, elephants and leopards from far away.
He speaks fluent English and knows detailed animal behaviour, local ecology, as well as Maasai culture. He patiently answers all questions and tells vivid stories about the wilderness. He drives safely and smoothly, always picks the best viewing angle for photography.
He is thoughtful, reliable and flexible. He adjusted our itinerary to avoid crowded vehicles and maximise animal sightings. He prioritises our safety and comfort all the time. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a wildlife photographer, he will tailor the game drive to your expectations. If you plan a safari around Arusha, Mack is absolutely the guide you want. I give my strongest recommendation.

Our tour guide and driver, Edward, was absolutely amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much throughout our safari. He was very patient, kind, and friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience.
Edward made the safari even more special with his knowledge of the animals, the area, and the best places to see wildlife. We were very lucky to have him as our guide, and we truly appreciate everything he did for us.

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure
We were extremely lucky to see all the big five and so many other amazing animals and birds! We also captured some incredible moments, like a leopard lounging in a tree, lions having their drinks, meals, and even a mating scene, vultures feasting, baboons and hyenas getting cozy, and so much more.
In Tanzania, all the accommodations are exceptional, super comfy, and have a unique, charming vibe, all set against beautifully landscaped grounds, which made everything even better.
We highly recommend our guides, Vincent in Kenya and Josh in Tanzania. They are all very friendly and easygoing people. They’re professional, trustworthy, and even handle those super rough roads with ease.Plus, they’re experienced and know a lot about safaris. They have super sharp eyes and a good understanding of animal behavior, which makes game drives incredibly educational and interesting.
Finally, a special thanks to Hatibu from Colours Africa; he made our safari a reality, and his attentiveness throughout the trip ensured everything went smoothly.

An Unforgettable Safari with Aron
We had such a great time in Kenya with Aron. He picked us up in Nairobi and was with us through Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Maasai Mara.
Aron is Maasai, and I think this really added something special to the experience. He knows the area so well and you can tell that he genuinely loves the place and the work he does.
What I really liked was that he made finding animals feel like an adventure. It wasn’t just about seeing as many animals as possible or ticking things off a list. He really cared about us having a good time and making memories, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable.
He was also very passionate and enthusiastic throughout the trip, and it was nice to see that he had such a good relationship with other local guides as well.
We had some really memorable moments in Kenya and Aron was a big part of that. I would definitely recommend him if you’re planning a safari!

Amazing Safari Trip of a Life Time
We have recently returned home from our amazing safari trip, and what a trip it was! We managed to see the big 5 and so much more, all thanks to our brilliant guides. A massive shout out to the one and only Castro, once again a massive thank you to you and what a guy you are we will always remember you and hopefully see you again soon in the future! Thank you to Edward our guide in Masai Mara who was brilliant at spotting cheetahs. A big thank you to all of the staff at Misako Mara Migration Camp we loved staying here and we really did not want to leave, when we say we felt like a family here we really meant that, all because of how welcoming and kind the staff are and the food was delicious 😋. We would highly recommend staying at Safari Haven the room was luxurious with good food. Unfortunately we did not have a good stay at Summit Safari Lodge, the food was not great and the staff only understood very little English. Overall we had a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend booking with Colours Africa Tours thank you for making our experience of a lifetime possible. From Jack and Megan 💝💗

A safari experience we will never forget!
My partner and I did a 12-day private safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Colours Africa. This was my second trip with Colours Africa, and once again we had a wonderful experience. The trip was well organized, the accommodations were comfortable and well selected, and Jemesina was very helpful in finalizing the itinerary.
In Kenya, Mr. Vincent was our guide. We visited Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Buffalo Springs and Amboseli. The lakes were beautiful, and we saw a great variety of birds throughout the safari. In Buffalo Springs, wildlife density was lower than in some other parks, but we still had great sightings, including a leopard. Most importantly, I went to the Samburu region hoping to see the Samburu Five, and I was very happy that we managed to see them.
Amboseli gave us some of our most memorable moments in Kenya — especially the large elephant herds moving across the landscape surrounded by egrets.
Tanzania was the highlight of the trip, and a lot of credit goes to Mr. Norton, our guide. His communication, explanations and knowledge really added to the experience. Tarangire was great as well, with many elephants and eland.
The Serengeti was unforgettable. We were incredibly lucky to witness the Great Migration river crossing twice, see a crocodile kill, and have excellent sightings of lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Ngorongoro Crater is spectacular, although we personally enjoyed it less because of how crowded it was with safari vehicles.
Overall, an unforgettable and very comfortable safari. After travelling with Colours Africa for the second time, I would happily recommend them again.

Exceptional 10-Day East Africa Safari with Colours Africa!
We had an unforgettable 10-day safari experience with Colours Africa! From start to finish, the hospitality and organization were top-notch. The team took complete care of us, seamlessly picking us up from Nairobi airport at the start of our journey and dropping us back off after the trip.
Our itinerary covered an incredible lineup of parks—Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Amboseli. Every single stop was breathtaking. The accommodations chosen for us were wonderful, and the food throughout the trip was delicious and refreshing after long days on drive.
A huge special mention to our tour guides and drivers, Dickson and Ezekiel—each one was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and experienced. They knew the parks inside out and made sure we had the best possible wildlife sightings while keeping us comfortable throughout the journey.
If you are planning a safari in Kenya and Tanzania, I highly recommend booking with Colours Africa. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
