Our day trip to Giethoorn was absolutely delightful. The village is stunning - picture‑perfect canals, charming houses, and a peaceful atmosphere with no cars, making it feel like a storybook escape. Our guide and driver, Anzi, was friendly and attentive. We were especially grateful that he accommodated our request to be dropped off at Port Amsterdam afterward so we could easily catch our Rhine River cruise. A beautiful destination paired with excellent service - highly recommended.

The Giethoorn Small‑Group Tour was fantastic, and Anzi made it unforgettable. He kept the day smooth, shared great insights, and guided us through the canals before the crowds. His friendly energy and attention to detail turned a beautiful village into a truly memorable experience.

Geithorn village is SO pretty. Anzi, our host was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. He cared about our comfort and kept us informed the entire time. Please be aware that if it's below 65 degrees outside and/or raining it can get chilly on the water. Plan accordingly. Anzi also makes sure that there are bathroom breaks before and after the boat ride but the ride to and from the village is about 90 minutes with really no place to stop so watch your liquid intake. Lastly, the group is small so Anzi goes out of his way to get you touring early before the crowds and shows you SO much more of everything. There is time for a sit down lunch that's very nice. A little time for walking a bit on your own and a few stores. Lovely tour overall but Anzi makes it.

Immaculate spectacular experience. We really appreciated a small group and local expertise of Anzi. He knew all nuances and foresaw all our needs. Highly recommend this day tour where you can fully relax and enjoy. The village is truly spectacular and unique. Traveling solo you easily can get into a trouble (we’ve seen a lot of this on the way), traveling with a large group inconvenient and not fun.

We had a superb day trip to Giethoorn. Our guide, Anzi Aku, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable, very personable and also very accommodating. He met us at the meeting point on time. He stopped along the way to allow members of our small group to take photos, in addition to stopping the boat to take snaps from the top of some of the bridges in the canals of Giethoorn. On the drive he also pointed out the spots where we could see the reclaimed land with extensive levees holding back the sea. I highly recommend Anzi.

The.advertised 1 hr canal tour became 2 and would have only been more enjoyable if it were 3 hours. Lovely canal tour and wonderful way to see Giethoorn. And the small group leaving ahead of the big buses meant no crowds and quiet canals. We had a great day!

Fantastic trip! Anzi was a great guide and made sure everyone on the trip was comfortable. A small group in Geithoorn is a great way to experience the small town without losing some of that small town feel.

What a day from start to finish! I spent months researching which tour to pick and we are so glad we went with this one. Anzi communicated regularly leading up to the tour and morning of. The ride to Giethoorn was pleasant in his van and filled with interesting commentary. He helped us to navigate around the crowds in the small boat he reserved for us. We had plenty of time for photos (he took some for us!) and to relax and enjoy this fairyland. The lunch stop was a nice place and we ordered drinks, entrees, and dessert. This was the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam! Don’t hesitate to book this tour. For us, avoiding crowds was our most important reason to go (plus seeing somewhere fabulous!) and Anzi made it happen. Ten stars!
