Mr Choon was a funny and knowledgeable guide… we learned so much about Langkawi and had the best day! The mangrove tour was fantastic… the private boat was nice and we got to spend our time in the park as we wanted. I recommend booking a private gondola in advance for the skyline… you go straight to the front of the line and save so much time as the lines were long!

Our group of 6 people had the pleasure of organising a private tour with Sam Lim of SLC Langkawi during our recent Asian cruise on the Diamond Princess. In this tour we did a 2 hour Mangrove tour where we saw both eagles that Langawi Island is renown for and had lunch at the Jumbo Seafood restaurant whilst on the Mangrove river tour. We also enjoyed a cable car and skybridge tour, and finished by visiting Eagle Square where the huge red eagle monument is before being returned to the ship. The tour was excellently guided by Sam Lim in an air conditioned van and professionally run and highly recommended. We all had an enjoyable and full on day much appreciated Sam.
