Not a ton of narration, doesn’t give you directions on where to turn etc like previous audio tours I’ve done. We downloaded it but had trouble accessing it when we left cellular service. Just ok, not great. Thankfully it wasn’t very expensive. Maybe you’ll have better luck!
Thanks for the honest write-up — genuinely useful feedback that will help me to make this tour even better! The offline problem shouldn't happen, and I'd love to find out why. Offline is the whole point of the product for people visiting Alaska, so a downloaded tour that won't open is a serious bug that I don't hear about very often from other users. If you email digitalfjords@gmail.com with some basic information about the day and time you took the tour, also if you downloaded just the app or if you downloaded both the app and the actual tour itself, I'll dig into it and make it right for you. There's one specific scenario I'm already aware of that can affect tours downloaded before a recent app update — if that's what happened here, I want to confirm it. On turn directions — you're right, and it's a fair hit. The app does spoken "turn here" cues; this route simply wasn't built with enough of them. I will be adding more of them. On narration density, it has been noted. I will be going through this driving tour again and will be adding additional Points of Interest along the drive. Sorry it was only just ok.
