The Falls are excellent and should not be missed - the tour however is a pass. Find one that doesn’t stop at lame tourist shops on the way back.

That’s a great detail because it shows how much fun it was across a pretty big age range. Overall, we had an absolutely fantastic time on this waterfall tour! From our driver to our tour guides, everyone was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The waterfalls were beautiful, the experience was thrilling, and our entire family had so much fun. Our group included family members ranging from 9 years old all the way up to 50, and everyone enjoyed it! The lunch afterward was also great. A few things I think are important for future guests to know: The meeting point does require a bit of a walk outside of the port/security gate to meet your driver. They were able to drop us off closer when we returned, which was appreciated, but if you’re expecting to be picked up directly inside the cruise port, that is not how this particular tour works. Also, this is definitely a physically demanding excursion. There are lots of rocks, uneven terrain, narrow steps and A LOT of climbing. I believe we were told there were more than 3,000 steps throughout the experience. If you have difficulty walking, climbing stairs, navigating uneven surfaces or have mobility concerns, I would probably choose a different excursion. I’m glad I did it, but my legs definitely knew I did it afterward! 😂 My one real suggestion would be to have smaller groups going through the waterfalls at one time. At the bottom of the first slide, there were so many people in the water that it became very crowded. You can’t touch the bottom in that area, although you are wearing a life jacket, and with everyone trying to swim, move and get to the steps at the same time, there was quite a bit of pushing and bumping. I’m a little claustrophobic, so I found that part uncomfortable, but even members of my family who aren’t claustrophobic thought it was a lot. I think smaller groups, or allowing a little more time between groups going down, would make an already great experience even better. That being said, we had an amazing day. Our guides were fantastic, the scenery was incredible, lunch was delicious, and seeing everyone from the youngest at 9 to the oldest at 50 having such a great time made it even more memorable. It was definitely a FULL day, definitely an adventure, and something I’m really glad we experienced while visiting the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴❤️🌴

Great experience highly recommend very accommodating for pick up location. Also when my step son over heated from the walk everyone waited and grabbed him a Gatorade! Over the top service! The slides and jumps are so fun and beautiful! Also get the photographer service!

Our family of seven loved this trip, including an 11 year old and two eight year olds. It is a hard and hot walk up to the top, but the waterfalls are so worth it. Edwin Transfers was the best and answered all of my questions before the trip. I highly recommend them.

Worth the hike water was refreshing. You only slide and jump 3 waterfalls so its easy. The last jump is high but u can jump from lower or use the later

We had a great day! The hike was not bad with stops for resting along the way. The first two falls were water slides and the last two falls were choices of sliding, jumping(17ft) or steps. Transportation was clean and had AC! Samuel was our host and was great! Lunch was delicious! Highly recommend!

Prepare yourself for a 45 minute hike in the heat but well worth the reward of the beautiful waterfall(s) experience at the end ! Our guides Omega, Diego and a couple other guides were awesome!!!!

Our experience was great. We are a family of 8, kids were between the ages of 12-17 and this was everyone’s favorite activity. We ended up with private transportation, got there quickly, our driver took excellent care in showing us where to go, took things back to the car for us, was there when it was done, showed us where to go for lunch. The lunch was things like salad, pasta salad, rice, beans, pasta, chicken, pork, French fries, buns. It was served buffet style and came with water. After we finished up our driver took us to another stop where we chose to go in and see some monkeys. It was an added cost but we wanted to do it and there was no pressure. Then we rode back with plenty of time to stop at the port shops. The hike was not challenging at all for myself or kids. My husband didn’t like wearing the water shoes to hike. They take frequent stops along the way so no one gets too overwhelmed. I would have preferred to just keep going but we were with a group of people and some were older. We weren’t part of the massive cruise group, which was nice. Just paired up with a couple of other small groups to head up the hill, I’d say there was maybe 16 of us total. Once at the top we were advised on how to safely jump etc. there was a line when we got to jump so our guide told us to do the water slide and then go back up and jump, which we did. I’m afraid of heights but wanted to have the experience and it was so fun. You just can’t think about the jump and psych yourself out. We had 2 jumps, I think we just did the 1 slide. Everything was so pretty. We also paid for the photos and a sweet guy followed us taking photos along the way. That was worth it in my opinion, otherwise you’re too busy having fun and forget if you risk bringing a phone or camera. The guide showed us many things with plants, fruits and animals on the walk back. It was a great experience, we’d all love to go back.

My wife and I really enjoyed the overall experience of this excursion. We liked the hiking aspect to get to the top of the mountain, and then enjoyed the water, whether sliding, jumping and floating through. The guides were great and communicated through the trip. It is important to note that in the description it says "up to 7 waterfalls" as part of this experience. We were told that this is dependent on the rain fall and water levels, which makes sense, but don't expect that you are going to get 7. I think we only ended up doing 3 or 4. We were also part of a much larger group once we got to the waterfalls. Our booking company only included 3 people, which was nice on our travel to and from, but we were grouped with probably another 100+ people. This made for an extremely large overall group, which resulted in a lot of waiting. We stopped about every 5-10 minutes since we had people of different fitness, then there were long lines to actually do the waterfalls. After our adventure, we enjoyed an awesome lunch. The food was very fresh, and well prepared. It was a great example of the local cuisine. I recognize this isn't the fault of the booking company, but the waterfall was very crowded which made the experience a little less for us. I think we would still do it again, but we would go in with a different mindset.
