I had a terrible experience. They agreed on a time and took almost 1 hour, leaving us in an 8-degree cold at 4 in the morning. The trip there was smooth, but we were very late, arriving as the last to enter the park. The tour was a bit rushed, breakfast and lunch were quite reasonable, with no infrastructure for tourism. The return was delayed, they said around 7 PM, we arrived at 8:30 PM, the guides don't control the people and it causes delays. In short, I don't recommend it to anyone, 7 hours on the bus for 4 hours of sightseeing.

The day I took the tour, it was outsourced. On behalf of the outsourced team, I have already done the evaluation at the link the guide gave me. Great guides and drivers. On behalf of Machu Picchu trips, as I have mentioned in other reviews, I think there are communication and logistics problems. This 7 Lakes tour leaves Cusco very early, around 4 am. Until close to 10 PM the night before, I still hadn't received clear information about the time and location of departure. Until an employee from Machu Picchu Viagens called me asking if I had a tour to the colored mountain the next day! I had to correct it!

A very good trip, but it requires a lot of courage and preparation to go from beginning to end. The guide I highly recommend, Javier, attentive, calm, and always asking if we are well. The tour included breakfast, lunch, and they even picked us up at the hotel in the morning. Look for guide Javier and have an excellent experience on your trip!

For those going on this trip, it is important to note that it is not an easy trip. However, after the whole hike, the view is enchanting. We were able to experience snow during our trip and the guide Milton was super attentive.

The tour is undoubtedly stunning: landscapes that take the breath (literally). But it is essential that the disclosure be more clear about the level of difficulty: walking for more than 5 hours above the 4,000 meters of altitude requires physical preparation and adaptation to altitude. It's not a light walk, and that has to be said with all the letters. We bought the tour the day before, right here, but there was confusion about the operator — it wasn’t clear whether we went with the contracted agency or a third-party. In addition, we had a delay of more than an hour on departure, which I consider a relevant negative point. On the other hand, the guide Juan was excellent — attentive, humorous and knowledgeable of the region, made the experience easier. I recommend the tour, yes, but only for those who have at least intermediate physical conditioning and no cardiological restriction. It’s beautiful, it’s intense — but it’s not for anyone.
