Samith was an excellent tour guide/driver, he was punctual knowledgable and extremely flexible according to my needs. Travelling as a solo girl in SL I was a bit nervous but Samith made my tour feel so safe, smooth and enjoyable. He always goes the extra mile taking beautiful pictures and even arranged for my luggage’s to be dropped at Ella so I wouldn’t have to carry it on the train, I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends: book with confidence!

Samith is cheerful, interested and super friendly! Very nice that he speaks good English. He took us from Ella to Kandy. He showed all kinds of highlights, gave us time to take pictures (and took them too), told a lot and gave tips. And he drives safely. Also important of course. Recommended!

Went on a one-week solo tour. I was nervous at the beginning to spend such a long time with a person I had never met before, but my driver was very friendly and caring, so the trip was a very relaxed and fun experience. What I especially liked was that I was never pushed to visit specific places, shops or restaurants, but that the driver adapted to my personal preferences and always looked for the best solution for me. In the end, it felt like we became friends. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

I strongly advise against booking with Dreamscape Traveling run by Samith. After a 30 minute briefing call prior to instructing him, Samith explicitly assured me he would personally be our driver and guide. This was a material factor in my decision to book. After he then changed the price after agreeing an initial figure, I then cancelled his services, a decision I wish I kept. He came back with a revised price and I accepted. He then waited until we were on the plane to Sri Lanka to inform us that he had assigned a different driver blaming us for cancelling and then rebooking with him (even though he’s the one who created the cancellation and offered a new price after). We later found out this was a trainee with no SLTDA registration and no experience. The lack of professionalism was evident from the start, and I regret not seeing the signs. On New Year’s Eve, I was disturbed by messages asking where I was, despite our agreement clearly stating we were arriving a day later on the 1st of January.  Upon being picked up I was then expecting Samith’s brother to become our driver. He then informed me someone else (now a third driver) would be in charge of us. More importantly, the service was fundamentally unsafe. The vehicle provided on the first night had faulty brakes, which was incredibly dangerous given we were travelling on narrow roads at night with two small children. When I raised these serious issues, Samith was not customer-focused; instead, he was constantly deflecting and avoiding the core problems.  Logistical failures continued throughout the trip: • We missed the Dambulla Buddhist caves because the driver parked at the wrong entrance.  • Train tickets were not booked on time which caused scheduling issues When I challenged the quality of service, Samith actually tried to blame me for his loss of a separate 18-day booking rather than taking responsibility for the failures on my trip. Because of the safety risks and the total breach of our agreement, I paid for the days completed and terminated the tour early. Do not risk your family’s holiday with this operator.

Samith was an extremely attentive, kind and always available driver to meet our every need. From day one he made us feel at ease, accompanying us with punctuality, professionalism and never intrusively. His safe driving has allowed us to tackle even the most challenging roads with great peace of mind, always adapting to our pace and demands, all with a constant smile. It even helped us walk the path to a beautiful secret waterfall, making the experience even more special. It was a beautiful journey also thanks to him. Super recommended!

My first trip to Sri Lanka was unforgettable. They were very kind to me before I left, so I was able to go to Sri Lanka with peace of mind. In seven days, I visited Negombo, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Yara, Ella, Colombo and many more. The drivers were very kind and willing to take care of our requests and it was a pleasant and enjoyable trip. I was touched by the beautiful nature and historic heritage of each region, and the warm hospitality of the locals. It was a wonderful experience to be exposed to the culture and to have memorable memories. Sri Lanka has become one of my favorite countries. Thank you very much.

Samith is an excellent tourist driver, considerate, warm, kind-hearted & helpful...exceeding all expectations- Dedicated, patient, not noisy/loud, non-smoker, good etiquette & manners, good English skills. Clean car & Expert navigation (despite the winding roads in rural areas & sometimes bad city traffic). My 1st time in Sri Lanka and it's such a blessing to have him for about 7 days driving around Galle, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, etc.
