Walid was a good guide, with great pronunciation in Portuguese. He learned to tell us a lot about the local culture. The visit to Memphis and Saqqara is much faster than the description of the ad, but it is very interesting, especially for knowing the beginning of the idea of building a masonry.
Tour is hotel pickup and drop off only. Boat tour must be paid extra. Our driver was very good, he drives calmly and sedately. This made the car journey very pleasant. The boat tour on the Nile was nice, the boatmaster is very nice and let our daughter steer the boat.
Our visit went very well but we had asked for a guide speaking French and the day before the visit at 6pm the agency informs us that no French guide is available and offers us an English, fortunately we were 2 out of 6 to speak English and our guide Basem was perfect, cordial and dedicated just like his driver. The title of the tour is wrong, it does not last 8 hours but for us 6 hours
We had a two hour trip with Ibrahim. He took care of us very well. Walked with us in the market. This we escaped from all the haggling. If you know what you want to see, he can take you there and take care of you.
