We had the most perfect experience of the Grand Canyon, thanks to our expert guide Sheldon who was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced but also friendly and accommodating to our needs. Sheldon tailored the tour to our personal preferences which was above and beyond our expectations! Sheldon gave us a local, historical, geographical and geological perspective for the entire journey. We hiked into the Canyon, and had stops at various viewpoints. We felt cared for, safe and in excellent hands which resulted in an amazing experience of the Canyon. There was more than plenty of water, snacks and a fantastic lunch. Thank you so very much for our amazing memories!

A fantastic tour of the Grand Canyon. We did two hikes totaling about 5 miles, and visited several spectacular viewing points on the rim. Sheldon is a wonderful guide!

We had a phenomenal experience with Sheldon, our tour guide!!! We wanted to focus on hiking in the Grand Canyon an we got just that! We had never been to the Grand Canyon and we received more that an tour guide but a historian also. We learned so much more than we bargained for and we enjoyed every moment of the trip! On the way back, Sheldon asked me to take out one of the maps he had given me and he was able to detail (with out looking) where we had hiked which was such a happy memory for me. At the end of the trip we hit some rain and Sheldon had stated, "nothing would be more perfect at the end of this trip than a rainbow". We had just been dropped off at our hotel and Sheldon called for us as we were entering the hotel...there was a rainbow! With regards to details, everything was thought of: water, snacks, backpacks, walking sticks. Overall, the trip to the Grand Canyon was nothing short of awesome thanks to our guide Stanton. He is the most knowledgeable and patient person that I have ever come across on a tour. For this to be our first time going, I can thank Stanton enough for his time, patience and insight during our tour. If I could give Stanton 10 stars I would . First of all, this was a dream excursion. Our guide (Stanton) was prompt, professional, considerate and made the day very special.. His knowledge of the Sedona and Flagstaff areas is top notch (en route to the national park), and he knows the Canyon as if it were his own backyard. We felt safe and well looked-after as we descended 1200 feet down, and he generously explained everything we experienced oin detail, as well as taking on the role of personal photographer. Highly recommended!

We planned a six-day vacation to Arizona, just five days before departure. We have had great experiences with Viator in the past, and this time was no exception. The full day tour and hike at the Grand Canyon, went smoothly, and gave us the advantage of a knowledgeable guide, driver, and an excellent itinerary. no traffic, crowds, or waiting to get into the park with our early start. Our guide, Stanton, was patient and very knowledgeable, and guided us on a trail that was just right for our family of two adults and two teens – not too short, and not too long. We had excellent weather, and the day went beautifully. He was really professional, and we would love another tour with him next time! Highly recommend!

This was the highlight of me and my husband's trip! We originally had planned for this hike on a Saturday, but the company reached out asking if we would like to reschedule to a better weather day, so we did. That led us to luckily have a private tour with our amazing guide, Stanton, and experience the Grand Canyon day at our leisurely pace! It was such a fun day, and what an awesome way to experience the Grand Canyon. Highly recommend this!

Sheldon was the perfect guide. He made our day so special and we learnt a lot from him about not only the Grand Canyon, but also about Sedona and its history.
