Amani and his team took excellent care of us. We all successfully reached the summit and safely made it back down afterwards. They were always incredibly helpful, supportive and positively cheerful. It also showed how much experience they have in guiding people from all backgrounds and at various ability levels. A big plus for me personally was the private portable toilet. The food was also very tasty and plentiful. Our group size was 7, which is nice and not too big.

We had an incredible week hiking with Climb Kili. Our guides Raymond and Nobert, along with the huge team of porters, went above and beyond to ensure we were safe, comfortable and happy throughout the entire journey! Everyone was so upbeat and supportive, making sure we were always fed and watered, and taking care of us with the special small things like waking us up with coffee in the tent. Singing and dancing at camp was among the highlights! Communication and booking process was easy via email. We really could not recommend Climb Kili enough and will be telling everyone we know to join Raymond’s group!

Just finished the 7-day Machame Route and wanted to give a shoutout to the crew that got us to the top. John (lead guide) and Christian (assistant guide) were awesome the entire trip. They struck the perfect balance between pushing us when we needed it and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. There were a couple of times when I was struggling and they stepped in to help, including carrying my bag for part of the trek. They were constantly checking on how everyone was feeling and I honestly think their experience and support played a huge role in us reaching the summit. The food was also way better than I expected for a week on a mountain. Chef Stratton kept turning out great meals day after day, and I never felt hungry. David, our waiter, was always there with coffee, tea, meals, or whatever we needed. He was one of those people who always seemed to be smiling no matter how early the morning was. A lot of credit also goes to the porters and the rest of the team. You see how hard they work every day carrying gear, setting up camp before you arrive, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Summiting Kilimanjaro was obviously the highlight, but what I’ll remember most is the people. Thanks again to John, Christian, Stratton, David, and the entire crew for making it such a great experience.

My confidence with Climb Kili was solid from before booking to the very end where they brought me to the airport. Master planner Tiffany answered all my questions, helped me plan a quick 1-day safari with guide Livingston before the climb and an additional night stay after. I can report a 100% success rate on this climb, thanks to the support of lead guide Stephen M. and his crew of 7 to include Brayson M, Inocent N, Ibrahim M, Ton L, Joel M, Hassan W, and Amiry H. I wouldn't say the ascent was easy, but the descent was difficult on my legs. Stephen, Inocent, and Ton took great care to assist me down the slippery uneven portions of the long, long descent. The lodge staff and vehicle drivers (especially Mike) were pleasant. I will post 3 basic photos - for the awesome views you will really have to book with Climb Kili and see the views yourself in person. If you go with Climb Kili, I hope you get guide Stephen (Steve) and any/all of 7 men that supported me.

Our guides Gabriel and Emmanuel were amazing. Extremely experienced, kind, and polite. I really enjoyed the energy from Emmanuel and lessons about Kilimanjaro and Tanzania in general by Gabriel. I also really appreciated our porters and chef, they were phenomenal.

Climb Kili made this once-in-a-lifetime trip an unforgettable experience for our group. They took care of every detail from the moment we landed and everybody involved went above and beyond to make the trip awesome for us. Goodluck and his team were incredible, friendly, compassionate, and incredibly helpful in guiding us up the mountain. I can't think how the experience would have been any better. Would not hesitate to recommend Climb Kili and Goodluck for their Kilimanjaro hike. You will not regret it!

It was an amazing experience! Veda, our guide was super experienced and knowledgeable and we felt total confidence in him and made our trip great! The whole team was super supportive, helpful, fun and worked hard to make sure we had an incredible experience.

My wife and I completed the 7-day Machame Route in late February, summiting on March 7, 2026. We were joined by four other trekkers from the US, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better group to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with. The camaraderie, encouragement, and humor made a huge difference especially on the longer, more demanding days. I genuinely don’t know if we would have made it to the top without each other. The trek itself was more challenging than we expected, despite being well-prepared for this type of adventure. The rainy season arrived early this year and hit us hard from day one, with nonstop rain and muddy conditions that made for a very tough start. Even with full waterproof gear (i.e. ponchos, gaiters, and Gore-Tex boots) we were completely soaked. Fortunately, that first day ended up being the toughest weather-wise, and conditions gradually improved. It continued to rain intermittently throughout the week, but our guide, Amani, did an incredible job managing our exposure so we were typically only hiking in the rain for 1–2 hours each day, no small feat given the conditions. Summit night was another major challenge. Due to significant snowfall leading up to our ascent, every step felt like sliding back two or three. It was physically and mentally exhausting and easily one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But the Climb Kili team was exceptional. They ensured our safety every step of the way and patiently guided all of us to the summit. Reaching the top alongside our new friends made the experience even more meaningful and rewarding. The entire Climb Kili team was outstanding from start to finish. Amani, our lead guide, brought decades of experience and an almost uncanny intuition for the mountain, the weather, and our group’s wellbeing. He conducted daily wellness checks, monitoring heart rate and oxygen levels, which gave us added confidence throughout the trek. Our assistant guides, Isaiah and Emmanuel, were equally fantastic. They rotated leadership duties and kept us motivated, safe, and in good spirits the entire time. The support crew including the porters, the chef, and the rest of the team were equally impressive. Despite the challenging conditions, our tents and sleeping setups were always ready when we arrived at camp. The toilet facilities were consistently clean and comfortable, and the meals were plentiful, hearty, and genuinely delicious—exactly what you need after long days on the mountain. A few practical tips for future trekkers: if there’s any chance of rain or snow, bring an umbrella and traction spikes. We managed without them, but both would have made a significant difference especially on the snowy descent, which took us 3–4 hours. Plastic bags also turned out to be essential for keeping our feet dry when our boots were soaked during the final days. Overall, this was an incredibly challenging yet deeply rewarding experience, made possible by an exceptional team and an amazing group of fellow trekkers. I can’t recommend Climb Kili highly enough.

Our main guide, Amani, and assistant guides Emmanuel and Godwin went above and beyond in making this expedition successful, especially with the challenging rain conditions we encountered (which are not common in February). Amani was always a great source of knowledge about the mountain and its plant life. The entire crew was very caring - we always looked forward to our morning coffee in our tents and to delicious meals - and I’d gladly choose them again in the future. Having a small climbing group of 6 and using Kosovo camp for summit day were also pluses of using ClimbKili. Lastly, communication with the team both in Arusha and the States was always smooth (thanks Tiffany and Rickson!)
