Amazing Anniversary Trip!
Egypt had been on my bucket list for many years, and I was so excited to finally visit the country in honor of our 25th wedding anniversary. I worked with “Enlighten One Travel” based in Oak Park, IL to make the arrangements, and they partnered with “Look At Egypt”. Ezz and his colleagues from “Look at Egypt” took amazing care of us from our arrival at the Cairo airport, through our 3-night Nile cruise, and then down to our last 2 days in Cairo/Giza. We were thrilled to discover that we had our own personal, English-speaking guides (including one who traveled with us for 3.5 days!) and private vehicles throughout the entire trip. Our entire experience was excellent, and Ezz surprised us with a special anniversary cake during lunch on our final day in Cairo. My husband and I highly recommend this tour company.

Shuttles and guides were great but accommodation could have been better
Pros: The shuttles and guides were great.
Cons:
1/ Accommodation could have been better for the price we paid.
2/ The Nile cruise (Club Adventure) that was originally booked was very bad. The rooms were not clean and the cruise broke down, wasting half a day for us. However, the tour company provided us a private shuttle and covered the places for that day.
3/ The guides took us to a lot of stores for purchasing items and souvenirs. It would have been better if we visited more places rather than shopping.
I strongly recommend US travelers to exchange USD to Egyptian pounds and use them for tips and purchases. Otherwise you will end up spending 2-3x more with USD.

While unforeseen issues like mechanical problems can occasionally arise, we are glad we could provide a private air conditioned vechile and adjust the itinerary to ensure you didn’t miss any historical places from your Itinerary.
