Amazing Tour
Both the Rila Monastery and the Lakes are amazing places to visit. The views are breathtaking. And the our tourguide, Alex, was very insightful and offered a ton of information on the various sites visited, as well as local culture and traditions. Absolutely recommend.

Amazing Rila with top-tier guide
We had a wonderful day visiting the Rila Monastery and the 7 lakes of Rila. Alex, our amazing guide, was absolutely fantastic all the way through. From insightful commentary on the sites and Bulgarian culture to conversations on day-to-day topics, it felt like we were a group of friends on a trip rather than a booked tour with a guide. I thoroughly recommend the experience, and most definitely recommend the guide.

It was amazing! The Rila Monastery was so interesting with all the architecture, frescos and interior. Plus we got the chance to try Bulgarian Breakfast too, which was delicious. Then hiking the 7 Rila Lakes afterwards which in my opinion is grossly underrated and worth the time. Also, a huge shout out to Alex for being a fantastic guide and being so knowledgeable 👍 -Sam

Wonderful scenery and very interesting
We had a wonderful day, beautiful scenery and the monastery was stunning. Alex our driver and guide was great, safe driver and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended

A great chance to experience the countryside outside Sofia
Alex was a great guide. He explained the day's activities at the start of trip. At Rila Monastery we were able to sample a typical Bulgarian breakfast snack and drink some spring water. This tour will give you a good understanding of Bulgarian people and their history as well as taking you to some interesting places and seeing some lovely scenery.

They took us in a seven-seater from the meeting point to Rila and the Seven Lakes. It is not a tour; they just take you to the relevant places. The driver, Desi, was good and cautious, which is a great plus because most people here drive like crazy.
