We have spent 7 amazing and contentful days in Sri Lanka and are incredibly pleased with Drivers in Sri Lanka and, above all, our knowledgeable, helpful and very nice driver and guide Mahesh. Mahesh was very responsive to our wishes and adapted our program based on them. He was also a very skilled and safe driver. We also got many good tips about restaurants during the trip and after the tour ended he gave suggestions on what we could see and do in Colombo. I booked a driver for myself and my partner, and we were absolutely delighted with the service we received. From the very beginning, the company was incredibly helpful—suggesting an itinerary and keeping us informed about any changes that needed to be made. They even contacted me during the trip to make sure we were happy, which showed how attentive and committed they were to providing a great experience. Our driver, Shirantha, was fantastic—very flexible and excellent at recommending places and activities he thought we would enjoy. I would highly recommend this company. Management is very professional, organized and responsive. Within 24 hours of my booking, management contacted me to introduce themselves, inform me more about their service, provide me with a price list of 12 activities I could engage in along the route and to confirm my flight details. During the trip, management also contacted me several time to ensure all was going well. At 01:40 in the morning, my driver, Dinesh, was holding a sign with my name as I walked out of the airport and he took me directly to my hotel. The next morning, after breakfast, he met me on time and the journey began. He drives very well and I always felt relaxed and comfortable. All though, his responsibility is driving, he took time to point out landmarks, flora, fauna and geographical sights. He told me about the history of the country, customs, cuisine, weather and more. We stopped several times to enjoy rode-side coconuts, fruits, roti, curry and buffalo curd. Additionally, he helped me with exchanging currency, making purchases and scheduling massages. He is very thoughtful and professional. Examples are: he always carried my luggage or ensured that someone from the hotel would carry it. Always offered to take pictures of me. He almost always opened the car door for me. He always allowed me to use the washroom first. We spent 7 days together and he is such a nice person. The available activities are wonderful – I enjoyed every single one. Village life, multiple safaris, natural wonders and historic sights – all so reasonable priced. The guides on these tours were fantastic – very accommodating and no pressure or hassle. They really took time to educate me. I got to drive a tuk-tuk and an ox cart and enjoyed several boat rides. The guides were also kind enough to take pictures of me. I was able to see and do twice as much having all the transporation and accomodations organized. I visited 12 attractions over 7 days and I never felt rushed. The vacation was so relaxing, yet a was able to do and see so much. This tour was not only enjoyable but also an excellent value.
