Easy 6 hour walking tour of Arashiyama area led by Eiko including the monkey park, world heritage Tenryu-ji (Zen) temple, the bamboo grove, Okouchi Sanso Villa and gardens, the quiet Hokyo-in temple of a former samurai, a local restaurant for lunch, the profound silent Gio-ji temple and the Otagi Nenbutsu-ji temple with its 1000 Buddha helpers.

We had a really good time visiting the three places in Kyoto. Eko Heru was friendly and knowledgeable, and he brought us to places only the locals would know. And the timing was impeccable as we were able to catch the sunset view at Kiyomizu-dera, and had less tourists around. Overall, it was good company and we would surely recommend Eko to anyone who needs a private tour of Kyoto.
