Really enjoyed the Venice food on foot tour with Steven. He was a lovely tour guide. The fish tacos were amazing and learnt a lot about the history of Venice beach.

Stephen was a great guide. We had lots of fun on our Venice hidden gems food tour. The stops each had enough food and were so yummy! Lovely little stroll around Benice. Recommend it for locals or tourists- we have lived in LA and have been to LA countless times and ate things we’ve never had!

Fabulous tour and tour guide. Really is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend. Very entertaining and informative. Something to do that’s off the beaten path. Nice to learn about the city as well as taste some new and tasty food.

I’ve taken many food tours in other cities and this was by far the worst experience, it was a complete joke. By the end of the first hour we had only made one stop, because the guide waited on someone who was running late even though her mom kept insisting we start without her. When she finally arrived, we walked about 20 feet next door while the guide waited in line to order full meals! Giant açaí bowls, one for each pairing to share. It was supposed to be a tasting tour and we got full entrees at every location. Which I guess is nice if you’re a high volume eater but I would have so preferred more stops with lighter bites. Fish tacos from the boardwalk? Are you serious? Nasty. There are so many amazing places in Venice but it’s like they didn’t have real partnerships with the businesses so they went to places that would have no line. The guide was trying to call in orders while we were waking to that location! What a rip off, we would have been better off with a post-it note of recommendations to be self guided. Disorganized, half-assed, and disappointing.

We had a great tour of downtown Venice Beach learning historical facts we didn’t know. My daughter and I enjoyed walking the canals and looking at hearing about the history and looking at the different architecture. The food choices were outstanding with abundant portions so arrive hungry. Our guide told us about upcoming spring/summer art events that we will definitely go back for and revisit. The pace was relaxed and our guide intertwined some interesting Euro info in the tour making it fun. Highly recommend.

Stephen Scott is a great guide and perfect host. Gave the background of the restaurant and proprietors. We had organic, American, Argentinian, Mexican, and vegetarian. Wonderful history of canals and their founder. When I left my cell at stop 3 he escorted me back at the end of the tour to make sure I did not get lost.
