Rebecca met everyone on time at the Umbrella man statue where we all introduced ourselves and she gave us her background. She was engaging while providing us the history of Portland and our food samples. It was a good mix of walking and stopping to eat. The samples provided were good portions and delicious. We ended with a traditional Portland dessert - Marionberry pie. It was a very enjoyable 3 1/2 hours and I highly recommend!

Secret Food Tours kept in constant contact with reminders and directions. Rebecca was our guide and we could not have asked for anyone better. Besides just food , Rebecca was a wealth of knowledge about Portland history and things to do. Lots of "tastes" (actually pretty large portions) we couldn't possibly eat another bite by the end of the tour. Great value.

Rebecca was wonderful! We had a great tour today. We had a couple glitches when a planned stop closed unexpectedly, but that was in no way Rebecca’s fault. She had spoken to the establishment the day before and all was good, so something unexpected happened. My whole point in mentioning this, is to say it did t ruffle her feathers or throw her into a panic. We ended up at Jake’s and had amazing etouffee. Lots of great food and we learned things we did t know about Portland which was so much fun.

Our bubbly guide met the group promptly at the Umbrella Man statue. Although the day began with a light drizzle, it didn't dampen our eagerness or Rebecca's enthusiasm to sample some of Portland's food scene. I've done food tours in other cities, but I came away from this tour thinking I wouldn't need to eat for days! My favourite stop was Nong's - a very tiny place, but the chicken and rice dish was so tasty! Or maybe it was Grassa... super pasta dish, I wish I could have finished it....I was stuffed! Throughout our walk, Rebecca kept us informed about the city's architecture, neighbourhoods, and history. Highly recommend - but don't eat breakfast first!
