This is my second experience on a safari. The last one was 20 years ago with Oversea Adventure Travel O. A. T. It was excellent as this one was excellent but it is very expensive. We paid $12,000, 20 years ago so I hate to think what it costs now. We loved everything about this Safari. The food was good. Accommodations were good and we saw the big five and untold numbers of other animals. We even saw a pack of 12 wild dogs which I understand are hard to see. The guys did everything they could to make sure we saw animals and had a good time. It was nice to have what they call sundowners having cocktails by a river and washing the Sun go down.

This tour can be recommended 100%. It really doesn't get any better. The most beautiful tours were directly at Lodge Tremisana. Here the elephants came right up to just before the breakfast table. Sensational experience. The guides were perfectly trained, all friendly and helpful. A special thanks goes to Luke and Wee (?). The food was plentiful and varied. The accommodation clean with daily cleaning. If you don't book here, it's your own fault. Thanks again to the entire team for unforgettable days.

The whole team was always friendly, helpful and competent. Carrying out the game drives always a highlight, no matter with which team and the accommodation and catering was simple, but in the "bush" more than satisfactory. Always warm water, 3 courses and something for every taste. Not always there is. The cost of the drinks to pay for was very cheap, so you don't need too much cash either. So all in all really more than recommended!!! Thanks Ed and all the rest of your team. Was a pleasure and honor to be your guests.

We enjoyed our time with Viva Safaris. From the moment we reached out they were very responsive and helpful in the planning of our trip. I cannot say enough about their communication and support prior to the stay. We really enjoyed Kruger national Park and wish we were there more days. I did not know of the 6 we were actually only at Kruger 2 days. The stay is an hour away which I did not know. We stayed the full time at Tresmania which had ok game viewing right at the resort. I think if we traveled during a different season we would have saw more animals (that is not their fault). I would suggest not going during or right after the wet season as the roads are in rough condition and most importantly Kruger closes roads where majority of the good animal viewing is. One thing to really keep in mind is the vwry limited outlets in the room. We only found three outlets which were all being used (refrigerator, AC, and lamps). We ended up unplugging the lights and our friends unplugged the fridge. Our guides were EXCELLENT especially Smiley who will have a place in our hearts for years to come! They fed you plenty of food and even though I am a picky eater and didn't like many things (friends and others did enjoy it) I liked that they offered food so much. Overall you definitely get a good trip for good value. I would recommend to other going but if I could change ANYTHING it would be more time at Kruger National Park.

Just got back from the most awesome 6 day tour with Viva Safari. It was incredible! The lodge sits right on the edge of the park meaning we were treated to sights of impala, elephants, hyena and other animals just outside the fence surrounding the lodge at night and in the morning. The food and accommodation themselves were lovely and it felt like being part of a small, adventure-loving community for a few days. But the highlight obviously was the animals. And we saw a LOT, including 4 of the Big 5! Seeing a lioness approach our vehicle for first time was breathtaking, I’ll never forget it. And the racing around the reserve and at Kruger added to the sense of adventure. And scenery is just pure African wonder too, so you’ll never miss a chance for great shots. Safari was amazing.. Logde was not near Kruger Park..our room was very rustic.. Could use a update..Saff was great..

I have just completed a six-day safari tour staying at Tremisana Lodge with Viva Safaris, and I can highly recommend this experience to everyone. Andy, Luke, Whian, and Raymond were all absolutely fantastic. Their passion for wildlife is truly inspiring, and they all did an outstanding job throughout the tour. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication made this safari unforgettable. I would recommend them 100% without hesitation. The Balule Nature Reserve itself is simply amazing and, in my opinion, even more beautiful than Kruger National Park. There are far fewer vehicles, which makes the experience much more intimate and increases the chances of seeing animals up close. To give an example: I saw three leopards in Balule (!), while in Kruger National Park I only saw one—and that from a distance. An absolutely unforgettable safari experience and highly recommended!

I did do a fair bit of research online on various safari companies and the different trips they offered. I went for this six day safari with Viva Safaris as it seemed best to fit the time I had available before I needed to be back in London and the amount of time actually out on game drives. And was a reasonable price. But of course what you actually get and what it says in the brochure can be different things. However, I have to say I was almost totally satisfied with absolutely everything on this trip. And I am not that easily pleased! I mean usually things are fine and you shrug your shoulders at the things that are disappointing. But this was brilliant in almost every way and I certainly fancy using Viva Safaris again. Booking was easy - I got lots of helpful whats app messages leading up to the trip. Organisation was spot on in every respect. The main guides were great and head guide Luke just superb - balance of knowledge and personable without overdoing it. The itinerary was cleverly put together. I finished up being a very happy customer. And it was the right length for me. I felt ready to go home at the end but enjoyed everything in between.

We have just returned from 6 days in Tremisani Lodge. We absolutely loved it & was such good value for money. Staying in the lodge we really felt we were immersed in the safari. The animals come to is while having dinner as there is a waterhole out front, which just adds to the experience. It was a full on itinery with hardly any downtime, this was ideal for us. Great to bring everyone together at mealtimes, including the guides and staff, over an open fire. It really felt like family and the staff who cooked & looked after the accommodation, were all amazing. Food was excellent, home cooked with care & plentiful. Maximum of 9 people per wagon on safari trips but sometimes there were only 6 of us. The guides & spotters were so knowledgeable & involve you so much in the activity. They were all great personalities. Great mix of activity from bush walk, bush bbq, sunset & sunrise drives, full days in Kruger. We loved every minute & got to see everything & so much more. Plus you see the animals so close to the vehicles. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to go on safari. An amazing place!!! Well done everyone xx

The Tremisana team goes above and beyond to ensure you have a once-in-a-lifetime, memorable experience. Shout-outs to Victor, Luke, Andries, Smiley, Rocky, Mark, and all the other guides (apologies for not recalling your names). Super-duper shoutout to Mama Dee and her team for the most incredible meals you'll ever have! Everything was freshly made daily. I tried--and loved--many new things. I left truly feeling like family. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER! I hope to at least visit once more. You are stellar!!!
