We had the best experience with Luis! He was a wonderful guide and has so much knowledge of Rio. His restaurant recommendations were spot on!
Luis toured us around for 2 days in Rio. He was very flexible regarding our interests and super knowledgeable about everything. Tour of sugarloaf was amazing as he pointed out all the different areas we could see from the viewpoint. The market was amazing! Trying all the different foods at the market was so fun and interesting. He also took us to a local place for lunch that served traditional Brazilian food. Would highly recommend him!!!!
Luis gave two friends and me a 6-hour tour on the first day of our stay in Rio. It was a great experience that introduced us immediately to some of the most important and interesting spots. Luis was very adaptable and knowledgeable and didn't only give us great insights on the city, but we even received great recommendations of good bars and places where we could listen to Brasilian music. Going to a farmer's market with Luis was particularly interesting, because he introduced us to local fruits and other specialties, which we would otherwise not have discovered. Also the Santa Teresa neighborhood was great to discover with Luis, who could show us the best places and could give us a lot of background. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone who goes to Rio de Janeiro.
What an incredible day! Private tour where you're not stuffed in a van with a dozen others. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable guide. (Sorry guide, I'm terrible with names and forgot already). He went above and beyond the normal expectations of a tour and goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience possible. If you're thinking of a tour of Rio, this is the ultimate one to book 👌 worth every penny and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Luis is the perfect guide, if you want to have a good Rio experience in just one day as we did. It was always relaxed and we did see everything we wanted. It’s like spending a day with a friend in his home town. Always nice and you get a lot of background information. Strongly recommend!

The Christ of course....Salerno steps....farmers market...it was all wonderful. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide...long time resident with excellent english. Having a private car, a private guide, allowed us to linger or not as we wished....

We took a unique tour of Rio de Janeiro and even though we were Brazilians, we were able to learn a lot in addition to seeing great places.
We had a fantastic day with Luis in Rio to get a view of some different parts of the city. He was knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining, and flexible. He made visiting Christ the Redeemer so easy and we really enjoyed having his information and perspective throughout the visits of St Teresa and Selaron steps. Even while driving around between sights there were fun facts and stories included. We especially enjoyed the market visit to sample food and see a different side of Rio that we probably wouldn't have done on or own. Highly recommend to book this tour with Luis!
