コロンボのマハウェリによるスリランカでの素晴らしい6日間

We loved our travels to Sri Lanka, and the things we saw. 6 days was not enough, and tried to put too much into each day. Our guide/driver was very pleasant and answered our questions about the sights we visited. There is so much to do, and a wide variety of activities for all ages. The people are very hospitable and friendly. The scenery is amazing, and nature/animals a joy to see. We were unfortunate to have a vehicle not upto standard, and had a part-day delay and had to switch vehicles daily for remainder of tour. Some vans/cars were better, but none I would describe as latest model. The accommodation was of good standard, and it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves in a couple of places, so staff were very attentive. As we had very busy days we did not get time to use all facilities, but the pools looked nice! 3 of the hotels we used were close to town, but the Fort Edge Retreat was misleading as very far from Galle Centre (and not the cleanest, or well appointed). The tour included transportation and accommodation, entrance fees are extra. You can pick and choose which to do. For 6 days I would recommend less, so you can really enjoy the time at ones you do and have time to relax also. If doing 8/10/12 days then pack in more of the options. We loved seeing the elephants, monkeys, turtles, the village safari experience, the train ride, tea factory, Kandy, Ella and Galle in particular stood out, but the whole trip was amazing experience - including the hikes in 30+ midday heat (suggest time those to early/late parts of day).

Just got home from an amazing 6 day tour of Sri Lanka with our great tour guide Shanaka. From being picked up at the airport to being dropped off at our final hotel everything was organised and sorted. Our guide kept us informed throughout and was very knowledgeable of the local area. Thank you for a wonderful experience will definitely recommend to anybody the best wsy to see the real Sri Lanka.

We just had the most amazing trip around Sri Lanka, with the best tour guide you can imaginable, he´s name is Jayampathy Halangoda - Halan :-) He understood what we wanted to experience and gave us the most amazing experiences i Sri Lanka. We are so grateful for Halan's way of being and his helpful and friendly manner. We saw a fantastic country, lovely people, have very good food and made a new friend in our guide. We can only recommend a tour with Mahaweli Tours and if it is with Halan, it will be unforgettable.

Awesome way to spend a week in Sri Lanka my guide picked me up at the airport and off we went , the first thing that you notice is if you are arriving from India that the air and countryside are much cleaner and once you get into the hill country it’s breathtaking, only thing is it’s a lot of driving and some of it is white knuckle driving so if your a nervous person don’t go on this ! If you travel with a partner you can chat away with each other if your a solo traveler like me you might run out of things to chat about over the 6 days and also some of the places you visit and there will be lots ,some just might not interest you the guide will say go and visit and if you don’t want to they kinda get annoyed with you saying it’s on the schedule!! Other then that it’s amazing experience!!!!!

A fantastic trip, thanks to our guide/driver Dulaj Madhushan!! The trip was delayed due to war in the Middle East and the airline's difficulties in arranging good transfer flights. Dulaj managed to replan and tinker, and fix so got the best experience! His humble very friendly and pleasant company made the trip perfect! He's very knowledgeable in history, geography, religion and social studies. Could answer all our questions that we asked. We felt completely safe and satisfied, throughout the trip and had opportunities for many nice experiences of the places that Dulaj suggested. Better guide is not available!

Fantastic tour of Sri Lanka. From the airport of Colombo, Negombo, Dambulla, Sigireya, Kandy, train trip to Ella,Yala National Park to Unawantuna. We had the pleasure of traveling through Sri Lanka for six days with Aruna Algama as our private driver and guide, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We are 2 couples who have been on tour in Sri Lanka. We have seen a beautiful nature, temples, national park and local attractions. Our guide Dulaj was really good at spotting what we wanted to see and he told us about the things we asked in a good way. We agreed from day to day what we wanted depending on energy and weather. Both Dulaj and our driver greeted us smiling and positive and we felt in safe hands. We would like to recommend Dulaj as an excellent guide, and say thank you for a good holiday. 😊
