We had an excellent guide in Isabella, who was well-informed, energetic, interesting and fun. We were a small group of only four people, giving us the opportunity to ask questions. There’s a lot to see in this museum, so a tour guide has to be selective in what to highlight, because one simply cannot see it all. My husband and I felt Isabella made good selections in what she chose to discuss, ending of course with La Guernica. She provided historical and societal facts that permitted an appreciation of each work in the context of when it was created. I would highly recommend this tour and would consider Isabella as a guide for another tour, if given the opportunity to visit Madrid again.

We had a wonderful tour of the Reina Sofia Museum with our guide Rosita. She was fabulous! She told us about the history of Spain and how that influenced Picasso, Dali and others. Her intellect and knowledge of history and the artists was amazing. The tour was interesting and informative. There was great communication between Rosita and us before the tour so we knew exactly where to go for the start of the tour. We highly recommend.

Andrea was an excellent guide! She could not have been more knowledgeable, enthusiatic, and more committed to the quality of our Reina Sofia experience. We learned so much because of the depth of her art history knowledge. She linked various periods together with excellent examples. We wish she could accompany us to every Spanish art museum we hope to visit!

Reina Sofia is a fasinating museum--wonderful post-1881 art. It couldn't have been better. Andrea was a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helped us develop a better understanding/appreciation for various artistic periods by showing us great examples. She was truly one of the best museum guides we’ve ever had.

Of the many tours of this museum, we chose this well-rated one specifically because it was guaranteed to be a very small group. Lucky for us it turned out to be just myself and my wife. Also, we were lucky to have Rosita M as our guide. Not only is she extraordinarily knowledgeable about the art on the tour - she is effervescent in her enthusiasm about it and teaching us about what we were seeing. The tour was excellent and we can strongly recommend Rosita as a guide.

This was a lovely tour! Our guide, Almu, was knowledgable, insightful, and enthusiastic! We got clear context for each of the artworks we encountered, and this deepened and focused our experience of the museum. Highly recommended!

We took the the tour with Almu. First of all she saved us a lot of time and not getting wet with rain. We did not have to wait in line. The tour was phenomenal. Almu's studies in art history and working at museum were so beneficial. We learned so much and subject and art came alive. I learned so much more than if I just took audio tour or walked around the museum. We loved Almu.
