Tom was a fantastic guide who shared his love of Kyoto. He was very accommodating to our needs and prepared a suitable schedule beforehand, including the train timetable. Additionally, he recommended ideas for the remainder of our time in Kyoto.

Give some thought to what the must see attractions are but leave space for guide recommendations, might get you off the beaten path!

We had a fantastic day sight seeing around Kyoto and are very grateful for our guide Steven. Steven worked with us to plan the day to see the sights we wanted and did extra research to know routes that were best with our 8 month old son in a pram. Steven made sure the day was flexible with times to stop or change agenda for our son. Steven was full of knowledge, explaing the significance and practices of where we were visiting and happily answered many of our questions.
We had a great time visiting several temples and shrines, strolling the busy streets of Gion, and enjoyed learning about life in Kyoto and Japan. Our guide Steven was funny and knowledgeable, we enjoyed him a lot and he helped us find a restaurant for New Year’s Eve.
The tour guide Toshiki is excellent in terms of knowing Kyoto most interested sites were visited, and able to convey the information of each particular site visited in Kyoto in a good way which was clear and understood.
