In the morning Mark picked us up from the cruise port for a great drive across the island in his shiny red convertible. We visitedd at many interesting places along the way such as the Ko'Hana rum distillery, the garlic shrimp truck and some gooey portuguese donuts. In Haleiwa we stopped for a taste of shaved ice and a short walk on the beach.
Mark is relaxed, personable and knows many interesting facts about Hawaii. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him.

Don't talk about politics when you're giving a tour. Nobody cares what about your politics when they are spending $700!!
The views of the south shore were incredible. We got great pictures and had a great lunch in the north shore. But then the driver got political. My son and I are Black adults and he literally played the song "Dixie" in the car and announced when we were by the hospital where Obama "said" he was born. It went downhill from there as he talked about what Trump said about Obama's birthplace because only one of his parents was a citizen. I'm a lawyer and a judge. I know that neither of your parents have to be a citizen if you're born in the United States. To which he responded that was why he had to "say" he was born in Hawaii...otherwise, he couldn't be president. He's already BEEN president. Why was that relevant to say? It was absolutely disgusting.
Luckily, we were close to the hotel and I was getting out soon because I was LIVID!
I'm usually a very generous tipper but $675 was already way too much to pay for being insulted and offended by racist political remarks.😡

I am sorry you were offended with my song selection. We had talked about Elvis being from Mississippi and you were from there and an Elvis fan and I thought you would enjoy hearing the Elvis Trilogy that he sang at the end of his concert in Hawaii. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful and didn't realize until then that the song was offensive to some.
As for being political, I had pointed out the Obama Hawaiian Estate and when we went by the hospital, I said "This is the controversial hospital that Obama was born at" which I have said many times before and no one seemed to take offense as I was just pointing out a landmark. You pulled the conversation to be political when you asked "Why I thought Obama's birthplace was controversial" to which I replied "Probably because Trump made it an issue." Then the conversation went on about what is required to be a US citizen, and I was merely stating how I understood it.
I'm sorry you were "livid" after what I thought was a great day of photo shoots and friendly conversation. I hope the photos will be fond memories for you and your son.
However, I will take your comments to heart and hopefully be a wiser guide in the future.

An amazing tour, if you get the chance, do it!
I took this tour with my parents. We had done a circle island tour but wanted to spend more time on the North Shore. Mark didn't disappoint. His communication was top notch, from the first time I sent an enquiry through to taking the tour. When we set out Mark asked us what we wanted to see and made suggestions along the way. We loved seeing Pali lookout and the rum tasting was epic!
Mark had interesting tidbits to share along the way and we learned a lot. I particularly enjoyed seeing the stairway to heaven accompanied by Led Zeppelin and the other great song choices along the way! Seeing a bit more of Oahu in a convertible was awesome and I can't lie, we felt pretty darn cool!
Thank you for such a wonderful day Mark, it was an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

A spectacular day!
Quite simply stated, a fantastic experience….Mark was extraordinarily friendly, knowledgeable, and keen on ensuring we got to see and do what we wanted during the course of what ended up being a 7 hour tour. From our first stop (a food truck run by Leonard’s Bakery) to the phenomenal views as we circumnavigated Oahu, we enjoyed ourselves and the information/facts Mark provided along the way. We wished we’d had more time. Suffice to say, we’ll be back and will definitely ask Mark to guide us on our next Oahu exploration.

Personal tour!
This is our second trip to Oahu in 5 months; this time we wanted to get to see a little more of the island and this is the way to do it! Customized to see the places you want and skip the ones you don't. Pickup time and drop off time? You choose. Mark knows the island inside and out and is a very pleasant companion and guide. Made us want to even to it again perhaps another visit.

Amazing road trip!
The pickup in front of our hotel was in time as schedule. Our family of 4 perfectly accommodate in the big, clean, shining red Chrysler convertible sedan. Our driver- tour guide Mark is a perfect gentleman, knowledgeable and with a fine sense of humor. We discussed the route and stops according to our booked time and own interest. We visited a lot of interesting and beautiful places. This is a perfect way to visit most of the island in a private and worrying free way. Made us feel VIP. I highly recommend this tour. An excellent value for money.

Great tour
I took the tour with 3 adults and myself. The car was comfortable and the driver/tour guide Mark was very safe and knowledgeable. There were things that we knew we wanted to see as well as things we didn’t. Mark was very accommodating and well prepared. He offered water and had stops planned for restroom breaks which were obviously necessary at safe, clean areas. The circle tour is highly recommended.

Amazing 😍👏
Had 2 days of touring with marks convertable car and let me tell you was 2 most memorable days we had in hawaii!!! First day was actually spent with his daughter Mariko (hope I spelt this right) she is just a joy so easy going and fun to be with she took us to all the stops on the north shore was truly amazing and never once rushed us despite it being new years eve, on the second day we did the south tour with Mark, what an absolute gentleman, so knowledgeable and fun also, amazing sites and beaches both days, I couldn't recommend this enough to anyone honestly most comfortable and enjoyable day and not once did we feel rushed at any stage, will definitely be back to you guys next time we're over
