I went on the tour with my brother. We can definitely recommend the 6-day tour that includes the Reserved Area, since you see so many more animals and nature compared to the cultural area. Our guide, Edson, was great. He could speak english very well and knew exactly how to balance professionalism with humor and enthusiasm. The same goes for our cook and the boat captains. Very kind and helpful people. We had a fantastic and intense time there and came away with many unforgettable memories.

Incredible experience! We did the 6D/5N tour in the reserved area and saw several animals: various types of birds, monkeys, otters, caimans, frogs, etc. On the tour to the cultural area, you can also see animals, but the reserved area is perfect if you are looking for total immersion in the jungle. Our guide was Raul, he was excellent, he explained everything we saw with patience and good humor. We felt very comfortable with him. The food was also very good! I would definitely recommend a visit to Manu, whether to the cultural or reserved area, it is worth it!

We had the 6d/5n tour in Manu with guide Lucho, local staff Cesar and Javier and unfortunately i forgot the good cook's name. Since we're the only two that booked in our case we had a private trip. I highly recommend everyone to take the effort and spend 6d in Manu with Vilca. Many thanks for the amazing week we had. It was an experience that we'll never forget, especially after seeing the non-contacted indigenous people, but also because of the guide's good guidance and endless knowledge of the area, as well as that of the rest of the crew. To be honest we're not most happy with the van driver (who drove as if he was in a rally competition) but the good memories will stay and we had the most amazing time in the area that our guides clearly has a deep appreciation for, which worked contagious. As our guide said, Manu has diversity, not quantity. We must have seen 40-50 species of birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. Not to mention all the spiders and other insects. The staff was professional and the food was simple but good with different things for breakfast and dinner and lunch sometimes underway. The guide knew the names of every bird, insect, plant or other species we came across and the 2 assistants we're natives from the forest with eyes for detail that you probably only develop if you are born there, incredible. Everyone was respectful to nature. We came close sometimes but if animals turned away, they were never followed or lured or something. Personally i would have taken the time to go to Peru from Europe even if it would have been just for this. Thank you so much!

Everything was great, particularly our guide Jose, program was flexible so we could decide what are we doing on the next activity.

We loved the 6-day tour to the Manu National Park and Reserved Area. Our guide, José Medina, an expert biologist in microbiology and ethology, continuously provided information on the fauna of the place, and also on the flora. Long boat trips (sometimes made eternal) allow you to see changes in river course, vegetation and different animals on the go, as well as being super relaxing. You have to be aware that what you will see is unpredictable: animals are in their natural habitat and are not waiting for you. Jungle walks are an adventure. In our case there were days that we saw many and others that very few. Be prepared for mosquitoes and any possible encounters with nasty bugs. The lodges in which we sleep super authentic and well cared for, some basic, but you don't need more if you want a total immersion. And although it is not the most important thing, to highlight how delicious was the food that Ivan, the cook who accompanied us, made each day. In short, a highly recommended experience.

We had a super experience in Manu, our guide was the best, Jose Medina, he was a real expert and never rest until we found a jaguar that was the best moment, the royal crown. Also Expediciones Vilca was the best decision we made, their team and infrastructure were incredible. I cant forget to mention the food, wonderful. Real professionals. Highly recommended.
