We had a wonderful day with our guide Sandra. The trip was well planned, organized and very unique and special. For anyone looking for something truly memorable definitely book this tour.

Our second activity with Santorini Experts was to visit Thirassia Island with Kathrin. She picked us up from our accommodations, and drove us to the ferry dock, where we boarded the ferry for a quick crossing to the island. Great views along the way. A long climb up the stairs from the harbour to the town (not for the faint of heart) yielded great views (recommend you do this in the morning to avoid the heat). The town is charming and we walked around exploring, with Kathrin passionately describing the challenges these villagers face, and the history of the area. We then walked out of town, to visit the cave dwellings, since abandoned, and learned about how people lived in these caves until the 70's. From there we were picked and brought to a lovely restaurant for an amazing meal, then back to Thira on the ferry. Kathrin was a wonderful guide and great company. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made it such an enjoyable outing. I would highly recommend her tour company.

Agatha, our tour guide, was fabulous! She made this tour super fun! The hike is hard but doesn’t take too long and is rewarded with a beautiful view and a drink from the the top of Thirassia! Finished with a delicious linner (lunch/dinner) around 4pm with plenty of wine and food! Boat ride from Ammoudi Bay was gorgeous as well! Thank you for a great time and would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely brilliant and must do trip when you are at Santorini. Thirassia is basically the "old" Santorini. Kathrin is a wonderful host who takes care of everything and is also very caring for her guests. She is one of those people who really understands hospitality. She is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and shares that with her guests in a very pleasant way with lots of humour. For me personally she also arranged that I could break up the walking tour earlier as it was incredibly hot the day we did it and I am still very grateful. If you want to book a trip or excusion book it via Kathrin!

It was a wonderful tour away from tourist trails and places. We learned an incredible amount about Santorini through Kathrin and were amazed how interesting Thirassia and her story is. Kathrin has such a pleasant and open-minded nature. The tour is simply recommended. Thank you, it was a very successful trip and a highlight of our now already sixth stay in Santorini.

We had a very nice day - small group of 5 people - our guide Kathrin told us very interesting things about Thirassia and about Santorini in general - was super well organized - we got to know Santorini once quite "different" - the tour kept everything promised in the description - Kathrin likes to listen when she tells - we also had a lot of fun and got a very good local food at the end - we can absolutely recommend this tour - THANK YOU Kathrin for this beautiful day !!!

We were promptly picked up by our talented tour guide, Kathy who is fluent in English, Greek and German. Kathy is a wealth of knowledge about Santorini and she spoke with such passion about the Island of Thirassia. We ferried over to the island. The experience was sureal as we climbed the steep winding stairs to the top of the mountain where a quaint restaurant with a an old jolly Greek man waiting for us. We proceeded to hike the hills covered with blooming daises and you feel the warmth of the sun and the ocean breeze through your hair and the humming of birds and bees. We explored the antiquated empty villages consisting of old homes built into the hills and caves. We visited a beautiful Byzantine style church. We concluded the tour with a very late, but scrumptious and authentic Santorini meal consisting of a traditional Greek salad with feta cheese colorful olives in balsamic vineragrette, Moussaka and grilled meat while sitting at the dock watching ferries sail by. It was lovely. I highly recommend it for active adventurers who enjoy the outdoors/countryside.
