One of the best experiences of our lives! From the very beginning, Allan was always attentive to us, answering all our questions quickly and adapting to every itinerary change we suggested. He always gave us his honest opinion and made sure everything we wanted to do was actually possible. We also had an unexpected problem because, due to a strike in Nairobi, our flight to get there was cancelled, so we ended up stranded in Oman for two days. Instead of us losing those two days of safari, Allan managed to rearrange the entire safari, and we only had to pay an additional $50. Absolutely incredible! Felix, our driver, was also fantastic. He managed to make sure we saw all the animals, explained so many interesting things about each one, and made the whole experience much more than simply seeing animals and taking photos. He made the safari much more interesting and enjoyable. The hotels we stayed at were also amazing, especially the one in Amboseli. 100% recommended if you’re looking for a great safari experience. We will definitely be travelling with them again for our trip to Uganda!

I was very apprehensive initially, but I have to admit they were amazing. The programme was 100% bespoke and the communication was amazing, normally answering all my questions via email within about a hour, and I asked a lot of questions. Our safari guides were very knowledagable and experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Trust me, you will have an amazing time.

I cannot recommend this highly enough! Excellent itinerary filled with animals and adventure, plus an exceptionally kind and caring team especially for our youngest traveler (age 6). David Oyata was our guide for ~5 days through Naivasha and the Masai Mara, and knew how to spot every animal, plus incredibly knowledgeable about Kenya (history, culture) - our family learned so much. We appreciated the communication throughout setup (thanks Phelix) and ability to tailor for our family. We are already planning our next excursion!!

Excellent tour with very good service from Back of Africa. Very good quality provided for the price paid. They were very reliable, flexible and adaptable to our needs. The best of all, the service provided by our driver / guide Hudson. Was extremely attentive, honest, adaptable and respectful with the clients, and highly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife. At the sometime he was always ready for a good laugh. I would definitely recommend to anyone the services of Back of Africa with Hudson as driver / guide.
