Fabulous experience. Our guide, Dave, was passionate, interesting and knowledgeable. The food was lovely and varied - don't eat breakfast or have dinner plans!

It was a couple day date sort of occasion. We met Mark, our tour guide, who led us around the Mission district to sample small and large bites of curated and delicious food. Mark was very nice and knowledgeable. The other guests were friendly and enthusiastic. We enjoyed the murals, walking and information about the architecture. A very fun way to spend 3 hours for foodies and others.
We loved seeing you enjoy the food and get into the spirit of the day. Sharing Secret Food Tours with you was a real pleasure from beginning to end. We hope there’s another visit in your future!

We joined a 3 hour food tour of the Mission district today and had a wonderful experience. The guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned lots about the area, history, murals, and of course the food! The time flew by and we enjoyed every minute of it. Food highlights: pão de queijo and how excited Mark was to share all of the flavours and stories with us 😀

Our tour only had one other couple. They were a very nice couple & made our tour a lot of fun. Dave was a terrific guide…very informative & knowledgeable. The food was delicious! It was great learning so much about the Mission District.

Amazing food tour of San Francisco. Our tour guide Zachary was phenomenal. He told us so many stories as we walked through China Town and the Italian District (North Beach) area of SF. He was very knowledgeable and recommended some incredible things to do after our tour (which we did). Highly recommend. Ask for Zachary if you can!

What a great food tour! Zachary our guide let the informative tour around China Town and North Beach with regular stops to explain the history and stories of the areas while we also enjoyed the local dishes which were from places we probably would never have gone to if exploring on our own. Mark was an amazing guide and really made the tour. Being from San Francisco and a chef, he knew his stuff when it came to the food, but what made it especially good was all the local history and context he brought into it. He gave us a real sense of the different neighbourhoods, the cultures that shaped them and how the food fits into that story, which brought the whole experience to life. I really liked that the tour covered a few different parts of San Francisco rather than staying within one neighbourhood like a lot of food tours do. It felt like you got to see and understand much more of the city, while still trying some great food along the way. Would definitely recommend, and Mark was a huge part of what made it so good.
