My wife and I traveled to Ethiopia to visit Bahir Dar and Lalibela, and the trip was arranged through Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel. Initially, going to Danakil seemed difficult. I thought it would take a lot of stamina from us, that there would be nutritional problems, safety problems. But we were very lucky to find this tour. The organization was at the highest level, our hikes were both busy and physically easy, breakfast, lunch and dinner were very delicious, overnight arrangements - convenient and safe, transfers to and from airports - always on time. I am very happy that we have joined this tour and our trip to Lalibela, and that we have also seen Addis Ababa as part of this tour. I did the 5 day tour to Lalibela & Dankil with 1 day in Addis Ababa. I had the BEST time here, with Solomon the guide from Danakil and Niko driving us to the best locations and beating all of my expectations ! The operators from Aman office are amazingly sweet and funny, as a sole female traveler I felt really safe and at ease. They are really knowledgeable and love to share about their culture and everything Ethiopia has to offer. The accommodations booked in Addis & Lalibela were also great, I recommend asking for the Maribela in Lalibela, it’s incredibly beautiful and luxurious. The camps I stayed in Dankil also offered a thrilling experience of sleeping amongst in open wind I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was one of the best trips of my life. You can book it your eyes closed, knowing you’re paying exactly what it is worth. And if you do, ask for Solomon in Danakil ! Thank you again, hope to be back with the best crew !

Our trip to the Danakil Depression was absolutely surreal! Solomon, our guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the whole experience unforgettable. On the Danakil Depressions 3 Days Tours & 2 Days Lalibela with Aman Ethiopia Tours, my friends and I had an amazing time. With its harsh terrain and amazing geological features, the Danakil Depression was an exciting journey. The tour guide, Solomon, was very friendly. He allowed us enough time to enjoy the place.
