My trip to Northern Ethiopia was fabulous, thanks to the flawless execution of my itinerary by Aman Tours. Bahir Dar, Gondar, the Simien Mountains, Lalibela and finally Addis Ababa all went swimmingly well, revealing incredible history (and UNESCO heritage sites) that the world should experience. I felt very safe and appreciated, which isn't always the case when you are from a country that's not deemed rich. The guides were as good as any I've encountered in a nation where English is not the first language, capped off by Abe in the capital. Highly recommended.

I booked a five-day solo trip to Northern Ethiopia online at www.amanethiopiatours.com from 3 to 7 February 2026, and it was a truly amazing trip. I'm a solo woman and I love photography, but this trip was just ideal. The Lalibela in particular is breathtaking, and the experience in the cave church is unforgettable. The maribera was also very impressive and all the places had a real culture. My guide Fikru was very kind and knowledgeable, always attentive and I enjoyed the trip with peace of mind. It was safe and comfortable throughout the trip. It was a total of $1,700 including flights , but I have no regrets about the quality of the service. Arrangements, accommodation and guides were all very good. If you want to travel alone in Northern Ethiopia, Aman Ethiopia Tours & Travel is the place to go. You can travel with peace of mind and remember.

We had a fantastic experience with Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel on our 6-day Northern Ethiopia tour covering Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Gondar, and Lalibela. Everything was very well organized, and the company’s agents in each location were professional, friendly, and reliable. The accommodations were excellent throughout the trip, with Maribela Hotel in Lalibela being especially outstanding. The trip was great. Ethiopia is a country full of friendly people, beautiful natural parks and natural beauty, numerous historic churches and unique tribal groups. Aman Ethiopian Tours has arranged a fantastic tailor-made trip for me and my son, with great hotels, GREAT GUIDES, excellent transport and a lot of attention to detail. All three guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Joseph, our guide in the south, was particularly knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this tour and its agency.

We did 5 days north & 3 days Danakil Depression with Aman team. The experience was amazing, they took care very well of us. Aman was answered all our questions just clearly & Fikru in Lalibela was our guide and he was so smiley, He never stopped of telling the history of Ethiopia & for us to see Lalibela and take pictures was a dream .He was patient and you could feel he truly loves Biblical related history. In terms of price, each dollar paid was worth it, and checking with other agencies, we realized they have competitive prices in the market. So really don’t hesitate to take them as Ethiopia operator. Aman was flexible and created a custom itinerary for our group of seven. We had Jocy as our guide and Fruit as the driver. They were both detailed oriented, knowledgeable and ensured we had a memorable experience. Jocy was able to arrange for the most knowledgeable local guides for all our visits. Everything was just spectacular! Highly recommend AmanEthiopia Tours! We did the Northern Ethiopia 5 days tour of Gondar, Simien Mountains, Bahir Dar and Lalibela and it was simply wonderful. Our guide, Jocy, and driver, Frut, were the best as were our city guides. I had no idea Ethiopia was so beautiful and the history so amazing and the people so friendly! They took incredible care of us and went beyond all expectations. We were so impressed with everything and were so flexible, we are grateful.
