Our time with Golden Triangle Company was absolutely exceptional. From our very first communication with Gopal, the owner, right through to our final farewell, everything was seamless, personal and so well organised. But a very special mention has to go to our wonderful driver, Mr Chetam. We spent eight days travelling through India with him, and what a lovely gentleman he is. Not only is he an excellent driver who somehow managed to navigate the absolute craziness of Indian roads without ever making us feel stressed, but he is kind, funny, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about his country. His timing was impeccable, nothing was ever too much trouble, and over our eight days together we shared plenty of laughs and genuinely enjoyed his company. By the time we said goodbye, it really did feel like we were saying farewell to a friend rather than our driver. Pete and I cannot recommend Golden Triangle Company highly enough. They made our journey through India feel safe, easy and incredibly memorable. We leave India with wonderful memories, a new friend, and a very strong desire to return. Thank you, Gopal and Mr Chetam for looking after us so beautifully. ❤️

As Australian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India, we have visited India dozens of times, but we had never booked an organised tour before. This time, wanting a more stress-free experience, we booked a 6-day, 5-night Private Golden Triangle Tour (Delhi–Agra–Jaipur) online for around AUD 1,800 total, including 5-star hotel accommodation. Logistics, Hotels & Communication The overall coordination was excellent. Having a dedicated car and driver, with fuel and tolls handled seamlessly, removed much of the usual travel hassle. Gopal was wonderful to work with. He communicated constantly, answered our questions, and helped keep the itinerary on track when unexpected issues arose. Our driver, Man Singh, was punctual, safe and skilled. We felt very comfortable travelling with him. One small suggestion would be to make greater use of GPS navigation, particularly when navigating unfamiliar areas. Hotels & Breakfast Breakfast at all three hotels was excellent, and the showers were particularly good. * Radisson Blu, Delhi – 3/5: Comfortable, but fairly standard. * Sarovar Premiere, Jaipur – 3/5: Comfortable, but again fairly standard. * Grand Mercure, Agra – 5/5: Absolutely wonderful, particularly because of the views of the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal itself was a true once-in-a-lifetime experience and something we will treasure forever. Our strongest hotel recommendation would be to spend two nights at the Grand Mercure in Agra rather than just one. Ideally, two nights in each city would make the whole trip much more relaxed and give travellers more time to explore without feeling rushed. Sightseeing Highlights Our main interests were history, heritage and government architecture, and we were amazed by the richness of what we saw. Some of our highlights were: * Taj Mahal * Agra Fort * Fatehpur Sikri * India Gate * Humayun’s Tomb * Gandhi’s memorial * Qutub Minar complex * City Palace, Jaipur * Jantar Mantar * Jaipur’s step wells * Amer Fort * Nahargarh Fort Fatehpur Sikri and Agra Fort were spectacular. The Qutub Minar complex was also stunning, and the experience gave us a completely new appreciation for India’s extraordinary history and heritage. If visiting Nahargarh Fort, we strongly recommend going in the evening for the views. Our guide took us during the day, and we felt this missed one of the best aspects of the experience. The Red Fort in Delhi was closed during our visit because of the BRICS summit. To the tour team’s credit, they were flexible and adjusted the itinerary so that we could spend the time visiting friends rather than being taken to additional religious sites. One piece of advice: do your own research before the trip and stay in regular communication with Gopal. This will help you make the most of the itinerary and ensure that the places most important to you are prioritised. Areas for Improvement – The Local Guides The main weakness of the tour was the local guides. They were generally knowledgeable, but our experience was inconsistent. One guide attempted to skip some of the key sites, and we found that monument entry fees were sometimes significantly higher than the official prices. The most frustrating issue was being taken to shops connected with the guides. This used up valuable sightseeing time and put pressure on us to spend money before being asked for tips. For us, this was the biggest area where the tour company could improve: guides should focus on providing the sightseeing experience promised in the itinerary, be transparent about official entrance fees, and avoid commercial stops unless specifically requested by the traveller. Value & Final Verdict Was the package the cheapest way to do the trip? No. If we priced the same trip independently in early September, with hotels costing approximately AUD 50–60 per night and a private car and driver costing around AUD 600, we estimate that we could have organised the trip ourselves for roughly AUD 1,000 total. Our children could certainly organise a similar trip themselves for less. However, that isn’t really what we were paying the extra money for. We were paying for convenience, coordination and peace of mind. Having someone organise the logistics, hotels, driver and itinerary—and having Gopal available when things changed—made our first organised tour much easier than doing everything ourselves. So, would we recommend it? Yes. Particularly for travellers who value convenience over getting the absolute lowest price. We would recommend improving the local-guide component, reconsidering the one-night Agra stay, and making the itinerary slightly less rushed. With those changes, this could be an excellent Golden Triangle experience. Thank you, Gopal and Man Singh, for making our first organised tour of India a memorable one!

After my friend’s wedding in Chennai, I wanted to solo travel and see more of India. Booking this tour was the perfect way to experience the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur). Gopal was super communicative, helping answer my questions and plan flights that work best with the tour logistics, making everything run smoothly. My driver for the 6 days was Dinesh, and he was a great and safe driver, kind, photographer when needed, and often gave me his own tips and recommendations for each stop. (He is pictured with me and the elephant). The car was always clean and he kept an ice chest in the trunk for water! The guides in each city were also great and knowledgeable about each site. I would highly recommend Golden Triangle Tours for groups and especially solo travelers!

It was lovely experience visiting india. We booked through golden triangle tours i dia and they were fantastic from start to finish. For us they made last minute adjustments and the tour goes perfectly well. Mahaveer was our driver was also funny and friendly and every morning we get car clean and fresh. We don't hesitate to recommend golden triangle tours india.

Loved the Golden Triangle tour! Jugal was a great driver and the guides were pretty good too, especially the one in Delhi. I do wish they were more flexible with payment options, instead wanting so much of it in cash.

He clearly outlined what was included and not included for the tour cost, and was very flexible in customising the itinerary to include the specific sites I wanted to visit. As a solo traveller visiting India for the first time, trust and safety was paramount, and Gopal made me feel completely at ease throughout the planning process. My driver, Dinesh, was great. He accompanied me throughout the journey, including airport pickup and drop-off, and ensured I was always comfortable and well looked after. During drives, he pointed out interesting spots around the cities, adding an extra layer to the experience. The guides in each city were equally excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and thoughtful. They provided deep insights into each location while also offering practical advice, including tips on avoiding common scams or getting the right ticket (multi-pass) for cheaper cost. I especially appreciated how accommodating they were, allowing me to explore at my own pace and take plenty of photos without feeling rushed. Once the itinerary was finalised, everything ran smoothly. The tour was efficient, well-organised, and completely stress-free— all I needed to know was when I would be picked up in the morning to start the day. I highly recommend Golden Triangle Tours and their team for an enriching travel experience in India.

Have endless good things to say about my experience. Extremely well planned and executed. No issues or disorganization whatsoever so ever. All of the hotels that were booked for me were very nice and the guides were all knowledgeable. The biggest highlight was my driver, Mr. Chetan Ji. He was such a safe and kind driver. He gave me so many additional facts along the way and showed me actual local delicacies so I could properly experience India. I also felt extremely safe along the way because of him which was really important to me as a solo female traveller. Would definitely recommend.

We made a very last-minute decision to go ahead with the tour, and everything turned out perfectly. Gopal was incredibly helpful throughout the process, making everything feel easy and well-organised. The itinerary was excellent, and every detail of the service was thoughtfully arranged to suit our needs. The hotels, guides, and extra touches really elevated the whole experience and added that finishing touch. Honestly, aside from perhaps adding a couple of extra days to enjoy it even more, there’s nothing we would change.

We had a wonderful time on the Golden Triangle tour organized by Mr. Gopel. At first, I wasn’t sure if booking through an overseas travel agent was the right choice, but I’m so glad I trusted my instincts. From airport pickups to the well-planned sightseeing schedule, carefully chosen hotels and restaurants, and—most importantly—the sense of safety throughout the trip, everything was handled perfectly. His driver and tour guides were knowledgeable, trustworthy, and made us feel completely at ease. India can be challenging to navigate on your own, with busy traffic and people eager to take advantage of travelers, but our journey was smooth and stress-free. Mr. Gopel even arranged an extended trip to Udaipur at short notice. There we met AK, who greeted us at the airport, guided us through a full day of sightseeing, and introduced us to a fantastic restaurant we loved so much we went twice! Every detail was thoughtfully managed, and we enjoyed the entire experience without a single problem. Highly recommended!
