Fantastic day made so by the wonderful guide and driver. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped back there at the end of the day. Our driver made short work of the famous Hanoi traffic and with comfort stops on the way there and back the trip seemed shorter than expected. The bus was luxurious.
We had three stops in Ha Long Bay. First was at TiTop island for a swim or a walk to the top. Second stop was for your choice of water activity. Fast speed boat ride or kayaking or a slow boat driven for you. We took the speedboat option which explored more of the islands in the bay. Final stop was a visit to the surprising cave. This is incredible. You walk i to an enormous cave inside the island.
The trip was elevated from good to great by our guide Son. He kept us informed, on time, and entertained. Answers to every question before it was asked and always a joke to lighten the mood. He provided the group with everything we needed.
Only tip I would have for you is to take your own towel if you plan on swimming. We were told it was not required but it is.

No 1 vietnam experience
Had an awesome day. Everything was so well organised, from booking through to the end of the day. Everything really well explained, perfect amount of time for each activity so no time to be bored but also didnt feel rushed. The buffet lunch was really good quality and good variety (and im a lucky eater). The tour guide Son was relaxed, funny and very friendly. He brought a great tone to the whole trip. The tour company also made sure everything was very smooth. Highly recommend. If you only have a short stay try to fit this in. You wont regret it.

Awesome cruise
5-star cruise that keeps its promises.
Luxurious surroundings, many amenities (chairs and seats on the top floor).
Various and hearty buffet.
It was very nice to kayak in the bay.
The guide was nice, and super well organized
Pick up at the hotel is convenient

BreathtakingHalong Bay
OurHalong Bay experience was absolutely breathtaking and seamlessly organized from start to finish.
The true highlight of the trip was our superb guide, Luca who was incredibly professional and charismatic throughout the entire journey. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel to drop off, he provided detailed explanation of everything we saw sharing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and geological formations of the bay. His deep knowledge made the landscape come alive.

Worth every minute
We chose this trip for the onboard pool and the activities. All tours seem to do the same things but having a family that is over 6ft, is difficult to find buses to accommodate. However the buses that this company have are recliners and the leg room is more than most. The family was very comfortable.
The activities on the tour were also great! Our bus driver (Dong) and our tour guide (Day) were amazing!! We have two people who are mobility challenged, and they assisted when required (even when we said it was okay, they stepped up).
I highly recommend this tour! We booked this with Cường (Kevin) and he was amazing as well! He did everything he could to make everything qonderful for us and he it was an amazing time!!
Thank you to Cường, Day and Dong and everyone else who looked after us!

Great day-trip experience
This day-trip/cruise to Halong bay with GAT is a wonderful experience. Our guide, Mr. Son, is very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. Also, he tend to crack jokes which made the adventure more fun. Our driver, Trung, is a safe driver. Will definitely book with them again on our next Vietnam trip.

Great day trip- would highly recommend this company
Ha Long day trip was gorgeous. The views, the boat, the water (after walking up to the top of the island) and friendly staff. The trip was well organised although, a little rushed through the last cave.

Fantastic tour
Fantastic tour. Very well organised, great guide, friendly atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian options in the buffet. I loved Halong Bay cruise. I highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely fun day cruise from Hanoi
I wanted to share some feedback from our Ha Long Bay day cruise from Hanoi :)
We had an AMAZING time on the tour! :D
The tour guide Mr Ben, the man was absolutely fun! He took great care of us and also made our time very enjoyable with jokes at any moment 😁
The locations were stunning and the activities were really worth it! My highlight was the speedboat, on a clear sunny day it's the best option to go deeper into the bay.
The buffet lunch was also very very good, the staff were wonderful too!
So all in all we had a super special day with a ton of memories to take back home! ♥️
