Overall, the experience was about what we expected. Our guide, Sebastian, was friendly and pleasant. We met him at a bus stop, took about a 20-minute bus ride, walked to the boat, and then took a boat trip to the islands.
The islands were beautiful, and we enjoyed hearing some of the local stories and taking photos. The snorkeling, however, was a bit disappointing. The water was quite wavy, visibility wasn’t great, and we didn’t see many fish. Also, there were problems with the shower and we didn’t have a chance to wash off salty water.
Overall, it was a nice experience to see the islands on a beautiful day, but the snorkeling was not a highlight and showers were not functional.

Weather factors across Mexico late this August temporarily caused unusually rough water and reduced visibility, but our marine life is usually thriving and vibrant. We always leave some time at the end of the activity to relax and enjoy the beach, and many travelers like to grab a drink or try some of the fresh food available there. So bringing a little cash is definitely handy if you feel like staying for a while and enjoying the local beach vibe. Glad you had fun with us!

Great Experience!!
Guillermo was great! The Boat and Snorkel Tour to the 5 Islands of Los Arcos was an amazing experience. Everything went smoothly, the views were beautiful, and the whole tour was enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend Guillermo!

Not worth it
Very short time to actually snorkel with poor equipment, nothing visible in the water. Water conditions where cloudy.

We’re sorry that the visibility wasn’t great on the particular day you joined us. On most days, the waters around Los Arcos offer wonderful conditions for snorkeling, but visibility can naturally vary with weather and sea conditions. The time in the water is also regulated by the National Park to help protect the ecosystem and prevent the area from becoming overcrowded with the many boats that visit throughout the day. Great snorkeling experience!
This was such a great and fun experience. The tour guide was great! We got to go swimming into the cave and saw tropical fish. We’re for sure coming back.

Very nice trip!
Our guide, Andres, was so knowledgeable and explained through out the trip in a very interesting way that made our excursions extra special. We enjoyed seeing the 5 small islands, and the snorkeling was exciting especially through the cave. We would definitely do it again!

Such a beautiful and wonderful experience!!
This was such a beautiful wonderful and amazing experience. We saw so many fish and water was so warm. Our tour guy was Sebastian he was super friendly, informative and helpful. I would recommend this booking to everyone!! Be ready for those waves they may make you a bit seasick so make sure you bring slat crackers or take motion sickness medicine before if you tend to get motion sickness!
