We have just returned from the most magical honeymoon trip, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From start to finish, Koen was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. Adam collected us from the airport and took the time to show us around Arusha before our safari began. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the town and getting a taste of local life. Our safari guide, Joel, truly made the trip unforgettable. We cannot express how amazing he was—his joy, infectious laughter, and endless knowledge of Tanzania and its wildlife made every day special. Thanks to Joel, we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five across the three parks, along with countless other incredible animals. Every accommodation selected by Wanderer Tanzania was perfect. We loved experiencing different locations and styles of accommodation, each offering something unique and memorable. Thank you, Wanderer Tanzania, for creating a honeymoon that exceeded all our dreams and expectations. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we will cherish the memories forever!

Everything was perfect from start to finish, communication with the agency was great. They replied quickly and catered places to our budget. Every place we stayed was incredible! We were a group of 8 plus a child and toddler, they accommodated everything for this. The staff were so friendly with our kids and they provided cribs and high chairs at most places and a car seat in the jeep. What really made it for us were our guides Norbert and Peter, they were soooo lovely. Answered all of our questions and also provided lots of additional information about the area, wildlife and lives in a tribe. They are exceptional guides and we were all so sad to part ways with them. I hope to come back in 10 years and have another tour with them and see the rhino population thriving even more! A trip I will cherish for the rest of my life!

8 adults and 2 children - we just came back from the most INCREDIBLE safari trip in the Serengeti with The Wanderer. The whole trip was so well organised from the moment they picked us from the airport. Peter and Nobert were our guides for the week. They were both so friendly and so knowledgeable. They knew the answers to all of the questions we asked. Whether that be about the animals, plants or general questions about their beautiful country. They were a huge part of what made the trip feel so special. Everyday we arranged a time to start our safari. After an incredible breakfast at each different accommodation we’d head out for the day. Every day was special, as we’d always see something different. Seeing the animals wild was such an amazing and surreal experience. Every day we’d stop for lunch also out together by the company, and the places we’d stop at were so cool. Each place we stayed at was stunning. Some had pools with beautiful views. But my favourite was Suenos de Africa luxury camp. Luxury tents in the middle of the Serengeti. We heard lions, hyenas and monkeys during the night and different birds in the morning. It was just perfect for a more genuine and authentic experience. Over all couldn’t fault a single part of our trip, and I will forever recommend this adventure to anyone who is ever interested. Beyond expectations, and a trip we’ll never forget. Thank you!

Such a great experience! Norbet and Peter were amazing guides! We got to see the big 5 and 2 of the small 5, this is one of those trips that will be remembered until the day I die, we were watered, fed and put up in some amazing accommodations places. We were sad to say bye to norbet and Peter, by the end of the week we felt like family. In short I would highly recommend booking when this company and if you got norbet or peter than you've hit the jackpot!

We cannot recommend The Wanderer Tanzania highly enough. From the moment we booked, Koen made us feel completely reassured and confident that we had chosen the right company. Communication was excellent throughout, and every aspect of the safari was organised perfectly. The itinerary was followed flawlessly while still remaining flexible whenever we wanted to make changes along the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt that the experience was tailored around what we wanted to get from our trip. Before arriving, we knew we would see plenty of animals, but the reality exceeded our expectations in every way. We were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five, along with countless other incredible sightings, and many of the wildlife encounters were far closer and more memorable than we ever imagined possible. We would like to say a special thank you to our guide, Malley. His years of experience were obvious from the moment we met him. It often felt like he could read the animals minds, anticipating their movements and positioning our vehicle perfectly time and time again. His ability to spot wildlife and understand animal behaviour was truly impressive. What made the experience even more special was that Malley didn’t just show us the animals. He taught us about Tanzania’s culture, people and way of life, which gave us a much deeper appreciation of the country we were visiting. By the end of the safari, it genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than just our guide, and we were genuinely sad to see our time with him come to an end. The entire trip ran seamlessly from start to finish and created memories that will stay with us forever. We have already been recommending The Wanderer Tanzania to family and friends, and we will continue to do so without hesitation. We had an amazing experience . With the help of Koen we created the best itinerary for the trip. In Tanzania we met our guide and driver Joel who we were going on safari with for 5 days. Joel was the best guide we could have had. With more than 15 years of experience as a guide we gave him our trust and he showed us all the beautiful things northern Tanzania has to offer. We saw more than we could have imagined. We are very thankful to Joel for sharing his knowledge about the beautiful animals and plants of his country. The pickups from the airport were very smooth. The lodges are very nice and well taken care off. There was plenty of food and drinks. Definitely recommend The Wanderer!

We had a magnificent experience through the most iconic parks of Tanzania from Arusha to Tarangire, Lake Natron, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. A perfectly organized and managed trip of about a week. Excellent experience with our driver Joel and with Norbert, our guide in Arusha.

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable 12-day trip to Tanzania. I usually plan all my holidays myself, but this time I didn’t have much time, and since it was our first trip to Africa, I felt it was worth getting some professional advice. That’s how we found The Wanderer online — and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! From the very beginning, Koen put together a detailed and thoughtful itinerary, which he carefully adapted to our preferences. Every aspect of the trip, from the selection of lodges, camps, and hotels to the overall organisation, was simply perfect. A special thank you goes to our safari guide, David — incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. Thanks to him, we had the chance to see the Big Five up close and so much more, all within the breathtaking landscapes of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, and the Ngorongoro area. Every game drive felt unique and exciting. The accommodations were all excellent, with very good food throughout, and they even provided delicious lunch boxes that we enjoyed in the middle of the savanna, surrounded by wildlife — a truly special experience. Visiting a Maasai village was another highlight and gave us meaningful insight into the local culture. After five days of adventurous (and sometimes bumpy!) safari roads, we flew to Zanzibar to relax. It was the perfect way to end the trip — enjoying pristine beaches, crystal-clear water, and discovering the local culture. The hotel selected by The Wanderer was a fantastic 5-star resort, ideally located near the stunning Mnemba Atoll, where we went snorkeling and even had the chance to swim with dolphins. The staff of the hotel was adorable. We wholeheartedly recommend The Wanderer to anyone looking for a seamless, stress-free, and truly memorable experience in Tanzania. Asante sana!

It was an unforgettable journey. We visited the major parks in the Kilimanjaro region, all beautiful. The landscape is unique, being able to see the big five and many other animals a few meters away was an experience we will never forget. We have to thank our guide Malley, extremely knowledgeable, patient, nice, met our every request. With him we were always in the right place at the right time. Ngorongoro is a paradise on earth, Nduto and the Serengeti are the most beautiful you can observe in nature. We stayed in places with stunning views. The Wander Tanzania managed to organize every detail in the best possible way, I highly recommend it. I just hope to go back soon!
